Got voice mail. It was Microsoft offering me to move some of my applications to the cloud

I heard "Hello" I said "Don't call here" and hung up

They called right back didn't answer.

On do not call list

RECEIVED A CALL ON SMARTPHONE.

got a call from 512-464-8500, when I pickued up and said hello, no one was there.
Called the number back - automated message said it was Rainmaker.  Definately a marketing type company.  But, I don't care! I am on the Do Not Call list - these companies should use that list BEFORE the call people.

Received call from 'Howard' with Microsoft offering enrollments to Webcasts.
The number belongs to a group of companies, all located at the same address,of which none is Microsoft. He obviously got my name from a list as the call was routed to me by the switchboard operator and was probing for info including email address.

Somebody call me from 512-464-8500 saying that I download something on a webside. It cut me by surprise i start thinking about this call. I dont remember any download so i try to find out trying to see where that call come from. That's when i realized that this people are no good. I was lucky not to keep talking to them because they find ways to know what they want. BE CAREFULL WHEN YOU ANSWER THE PHONE AND THEY SAID SOMETHING ABOUT ANY WEB SIDE.

I'm listening to a person calling from this number right now.  I'm at 2:40 right now.  All she's done is breathe heavily on the phone and talk to her co-workers, and sigh heavily.  Now I know that she's probably on an auto-dialer, and she's using my voicemail to give herself a little break where she doesn't have to talk and have the auto-dialer credit her the three minutes that she's supposed to be talking.  So I'm a little ambivalent about making this report: this girl's a person too.  But this person's most probably a scammer, so attention must be paid.

Junk Call

not always a junk call.  well, not always a scam, anyway.  This number seems to be an outgoing number from some sales call centers.  Sun Microsystems called me from here asking about some trial software we downloaded.  The callback number they left is actually a toll-free 877 number.

I have received two calls from this number. They are a good service company that helps with marketing for Tech Co's. They where very profesional and actually helped me with a product i needed. Rainmaker Systems in Austin TX is not just any call center. Good Folks.

"on behalf of IBM" asking me about Tivoli and Websphere

Junk Call. Asked to verify my name. I suppose they are bulding list for some
marketing, annoying junk purpose. DIE.

Received call from person representing AMG/Rovi Corp.  Trying to sign me up for a web seminar.

Defintitely from Rainmaker.  These are not scams.  Rainmaker provides services for Microsoft, Sun, IBM and any other company needing marketing services.
