someone keeps calling me from this number-doesn't leave a message and when I call it back --NO answer

Do not call my phone number anymore

I called this number and a computerized answering servic picks up. It tells that it is a company that handles calls for charitable organizations as well as political type calls. It does leave you the option to push "0" and enter your number to have it placed on the DNC list. Says it will take up to 48 hours to have the calls stopped. The 512 area code is an Austin, Texas phone. I assume the next political race is heating up here in Texas.

Really rude, asked for my dead grandparents then hung up on me.
As much money as we've given to the Republican Party a little respect would've been nice.

I just got a call from this person and took the call.  Said they were with the Republican Party and were gearing up for 2010.  They first asked for a donation of $200 and I said, "I have other avenues of contributing money and would do so on my own (internet or via my own phone call to them)."  He continued to talk to me and then asked if I would at least contribute $75 before hanging up with him.  I told him, "I didn't believe he was actually from the Republican Party, because they would not attempt to harass me over a donation."  I would be very leary about this... I just called my House Rep to report it!
