I just had a call saying he was from support plaza and I had viruses he gave me 1-866-856-4811 call back number. Funny thing he said he was from NY and when I said that is a TX number he changed subject

512-495-9027 are now saying that they are Windows Technical Support and that that their computers have crashed and they want to issue a refund for the money that has been paid.  They are very insistent that you get in front of your computer to fill in a refund claim form. Have been scammed before and am not planning on being scammed again.

I received a call from 512-495-9027 with caller saying he was from Microsoft and wanted to help me with a virus in my Microsoft internet explorer program.  He told me he was calling from Florida but the number registers in Austin TX.  He had called me just prior from 607-724-9716 with the same story but got disconnected. The 607-724-9716 call showed it was coming from New York.  I hung up on the second call.  I really doubt he was from Microsoft.

the number 1-512-495-9027 called me. They said they were from microsoft and that my computer had a virus and they will remove it, but you have to let us in. Then i said no and I closed the phone. I was using my computer on the bus and it was working perfectly. I came home and when it got connected to the wifi, I turned my computer on and it failed to locate the hard disk and stopped working?? any help will be appreciated

Same thing just happened to me. I called the number back and got recording that it was no longer in service.

Received call - didn't answer.  Tried (252) 495-9027 and heard message - "This number no longer in service."

I got the call from the Indian fellow from Texas saying that my computer was infected with viruses and malware. I told him that's interesting you could not know that. Then I looked up this site.

They called me today saying they were with FedEx asking questions about the business??
I was like... FedEx doesn't call asking questions about packages. They deliver them. Stupid scammers

I got a call from a woman stating that I had malware on my computer,it was midnight!  I have gotten many of these calls in the past and just hang up, but I never expected to get a call at midnight. That's crazy!

1-512-495-9027.Says they are microsoft. Try calling it back..you get "this number has been disconnected:, please check your number and try again.  so if you are really Microsoft, did you just happen to forget to pay your telephone bill just as I called you back! So sick of these scam artists.

They are "Windows Technical Support" scammers calling from India trying to get you to surrender control of your computer to them. If you let them into your computer, they will steal any information you have and ALSO try to scam money out of you.   Also be aware that the number displayed on caller ID is definitely FAKED.  I asked him about where he was and got info different than his phone number.  The call said it came from Austin TX, (512) 495-9027, he said he was in Jackson CA however...   LOL   Then I asked how life was there in Silicon Valley, (knowing neither location was in Silicon Valley,)  He responded with "It's good here in Silicon Valley."  LOL!   Currently working on "reversing" the situation with a data logger and a dummy PC for them to connect to.   ;-)   I suggest you SMART users reading this do the same and figure out the real IPs of these scammers so we can "look in on them" for a change.   ;-)

Person with thick accent (sounded middle eastern to me) called and said he was calling about my computer. I told him he had the wrong number and hung up. I have caller-ID so looked Googled the phone number and found this site.

I phoned back and was told by the computer voice the number had been disconnected

A guy called tonight with a heavy Indian accent also claiming to be from Microsoft advising that we have malware on our computer and he needs to "access" the computer in order to take a look and fix the problem. Alarm bells went up when he asked me to go onto a separate site to allow him access to the computer. Yeah right! Don't fall for it. Hang up right away.

Had a call from this number tonight - now they are Microsoft certified technicians waiting to fix your computer - yeah right!  We lost the connection and the same guy called back from 618-463-1412.  When I googled that I got this:

just hapened to us, they told us to press the power button and the "R" key and a few other instructions. We went alnog without actually turning on the computer. they said our computer was full of "malware".  we were like "yeah the computer's not even on".  East Indian accent in Texas eh??

This morning I had a call from the same number Dec 12th  he sounds Indian, he told me he works for microsoft, he need to fix my computer...........I ask him where did you call from he said NY, then I told him you know now a days there is whats' call caller ID right? coz it say Texas on my phone, he is like oh coz we call through computer, i told him bull-s*** and he start bichin on me, told him straight up, you dont know how to still.....anyways do not give them anything because they will pull out your credit cards # your info if you used online banking trust me I dont know much about computers but that is what its all about if let em run ur computer.

I Just got a call today from this number. It was a man with a heavy Indian accent. They have called here several times before, at least 15 times, but not in a couple of months at least. The last time the called it was around 7:30 am. He told me I have a virus on my computer. They want to download a file to your computer get you credit card/banking information and then sell it for cash. Pieces of garbage! Just paly mind games with them and report them wherever you can.

just got call from this number. i live in mississauga, ontario.  no name was shown under my caller ID.  i continued to let it ring so that it could go to my voicemail which picks up after the 6th ring.  the caller hung up just before the 6th ring.

called my cell phone, I do not answer call I don't recognize. Called it back from another phone line and it said the number is not in service. It is illegal to do this. Someone is spoofing the number.

I got a call from this number and they stated that I had a virus on my computer the number showed up as a payphone on caller ID .

I had a virus protection already on my computer they knew my name and the person was not from this country sounded like maybe India however being aware of phone scams I hung up once they told me I had a dell computer. That was not the name of my computer.

I reported it to my telephone company to be on the safe side I did a reverse lookup and it showed up as a landline in Texas.

I never answer unknown numbers and after checking to see if they have been highlighted on sites such as this I call block them. I've had 3 such calls in the last 2 days. All have been blocked. I guess a new list has been sold with my number as one of the inclusions. My advice is to not answer any number that you do not recognize, check it out on Google and then call them back if it appears to be legitimate and you want to talk to them. None have so far been that way.

I received a calll from this exact same number and they stated that they were from Hudson's law firm and that they wanted me to give them 450.00 for an outstanding loan. They asked for credit card information, which I didnt give. When I told them that I wasn't going to give it to them , they told me that I would be supoenaed and they would resolve the matter in court. Two different individuals came on the phone, had foreign accent. couldn't understand neither one of them. Beware of them.
