Received a call from supposed DEA agent Vega. Told him that my CC had been stolen, but he continued to read the law over and over again. Told me that they would be coming to my house to arrest me. I said good luck with that as I have just moved and only use a PO box. ( we are in the country). I really seemed to frustrate him and that gave me a chuckle. 512-547-4754 was the number he used

PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE THIS GUY TOTAL SCAM!! HE HAD ME SCARED OUT OF MY MIND FOR A FEW MINUTES. TOLD HIM MY FRIEND FROM THE FBI WOULD BE MEETING WITH ME TO HELP ME. HE HUNG UP AND WON'T PICK UP THE PHONE NOW!!

This guy called at least once a day claiming that he is a DEA agent investigating a drug dealing. I asked to take a message and he hung up. Same thing every time. So today, I called back his number that showed up on our Caller ID and got a voice mail. The voice mail says "... This is the DEA office and all of our agents are busying helping other callers... blah blah". I called the DEA Austin office and reported the call. The DEA is actually investigating this scam and they have a special agent named John who is in charge of this investigation. If he calls you, call the DEA Austin office 512-344-4900 and ask to speak to agent John.

Call from "Bill Anderson" with the "Drug Enforcement Agency Administration" regarding an ongoing investigation regarding illegal buying of drugs on the internet. He insisted that my wife agree to cooperate or go to jail. He said he was watching the house. ALL BOGUS. I called the Austin, TX DEA on this caller. Austin DEA will contact local law enforcement.
