Mine was a "public service announcement that the Dept of Motor Vehicles reports that you are paying too much  for your auto insurance".  I get the same call on my cell phone about once a week.  I do not give out my cell phone number because it is on "pay as you go" and only used for emergencies, so I usually don't answer and let it go to voice mail.

Just got 2 calls from this number and spoofed number - "52730315". Both were voice recordings claiming to be FBI or something and I hung up. Obvious scam! If the FBI were trying to contact, they'd obviously have a real person on the line.

Reported to the FCC!

Re "Steve".   I often check and report cellphone spamming, and I have noticed of late that there are quite a few Stevesque replies along the lines of: "UR crasie this be a legitimut numbr".

I suspect that "Steve" and his illiterate ilk are paid by spammers to post FUD to sites such as whocallsme.  This means that lookup sites such as this are probably having some effect on the spammers, which is good news.

This may be one of those telemarketing companies that places calls for anyone who will pay them money, and spoofs the Caller ID to say whatever they want it to say. That would explain why Caller ID's show different companies.

This call just came as I am ending the day.  It was some sort of porn promoter.  Disgusting

Robert from "Google" called.  I just hung up.  So tired of these things wasting my valuable business time.  Called ID said "world of tennis"

Called this afternoon selling home alarm systems; caller ID shows World of Tennis. (Really?!) I don't believe they're located in the US . . . caller had definite Asian accent.

Robo call from "Robert from Google" I don't have a business & am on National & State Do Not Call list so will report this to the Attorney General's office. Vey annoying - they call several times a week.

This number came up as a Cell Phone TX - when I answered there was no one there - when I called back just got hold music- wow - do the only people that get this number scammers?  Geez!

This number shows up as world of tennis, then goes on to leave a recording for mortgage refinancing..

Just received a call from this number.  Since the caller ID name was UNAVAILABLE, I let the answering machine pick it which plays the SIT tones and then announces that this number is no longer in service.  Whether it was an auto-dialer looking for active phones, Peter Piper Popoff, Bob Google, or Barney Fife, hopefully I will be taken off of their list as an active phone #.

just got a call no body on the other end or it was that long delay that happens with the auto dialers. didn't stay on the phone to find out.

Received call from 512 568-3591. Caller Id clearly showed World of Tennis. Woman caller hawked a program that would put money in my bank just for using visa and mastercard to process unspecified transactions. No mention of Google or Credit Collections or Peter Popoff Ministry. Appears to me to be a number that is used by a very diverse house of scams.

WOW this guy really F up.  I just received a call from this number that it was a recording that said "Hi this is Robert FROM Google ..... Most of the time these scammers try to make it sound like they are from Google and will get you a first page listing.  This jerk said he was from Google.  That's 100% fraud.  If only Robert knew that all of our calls are recorded and that little record that he made has been sent to Googles legal department.

It's from the Peter Popoff "Ministry".He is a TV evangelist who mails people ridiculous faith-driven letters asking for money... he called me the other day with a recording asking if i had  received his letter.
