Same as othere... Call came in from 512-757-8984.  I answered, but no one was there.  When I called the number, I got voice mail with "no room left".  Cal Dean Hero is indeed in violation of the DNC policy.

Have had two calls from this number this afternoon. How can I stop this? my number is suppose to be on the telemarketing no call list.  Is that not working anymore.

This a telemarketing Co looking for senior citizens to prey upon.  When they found out I was not a senior, and would not be for at least 25years, they did not even say thanks or I will take u off our list, they just hung up on me.  Horrible simply horrible manners for sure,  signed a very southern, country mom.

Keeps calling and hanging up. Will cuss them like an old sailor(which I am) when someone does answer. Someone needs to go kick this guys butt!!!

See DennisDallas - 11 Jul 2008 comment. It's very helpful. I called and chatted with a nice lady who apologized and promised to put my number on the do not call list. I mentioned that if I got another call I would send a link to this site to the PUC and FCC. This is a  nice document that will help prove a case against them.

I am now filing my second complaint with the Texas Public Utility Commission about this Medicare scam.  If you are on the Texas Do Not Call list I encourage you to do the same, since they only take action on the basis of the number of complaints they have received.

Just got a call from this number.  No one in this household would qualify for the services he is selling.  When I answered the phone, no one was there.  Clearly this company has issues...

Just got a call from GSA, didn't answer.  No message left.  I am on the no call list. Yeah, he has problems with his phone software, but I don't believe he cares.  He has plenty of "Lorem Ipsum" text filling his website including the home page.

I continue to receive unsolicited calls from this number and company. I am on the do not call list.

Keep getting calls from this number..no message left

We have received multiple calls from this number. Whenever I call back, it is a recorder with no room for messages.

Keepsing calling, and when answered, hangs up, when calling back, message answering is full, so not able to leave message to stop calling my number.

I to keep receiving calls from this number, ny husband and myself are no where near the age to reveive Medicare/Medicade, someone needs to get a handle on this call list, and get it fixed NOW.

Received numerous phone calls (18)last three weeks. Finally called AT&T and after a couple of hours and a trap added to my line found out it was Golden Senior Advisors a/k/a GSA. found that owner one Cal Hero who has a company listed phone number at 1-800-706-0382. I called him and he gave my some sob  story about "our computers are messed up and is having an error and dialing do not call numbers". I informed him that their were numerous complaints posted and that if there is a "problem" with his software then he needs to shut it down. I also informed to cease and stop any furthur calls from his compnay, or branches of his company. I also informed him that the phone call was recorded and that one more call from his compnay and I would sue. I also sent a cease and desist letter certified to him today. I will sue and everyone else should also. Also filed a complaint for each incident with the FCC and states attorney general.

well mr cal hero isn't sticking to his no auto dial policy ,I am also on the do not call list and reecieved a call today,i am only 32yrs old nowhere near a senior yet,this calls arfe annoying since i put my number on the list seems like calls havent slowed down,It's rather annoying to be called about stuff i could care less about all day, i am filing a complaint with the bbb also the secretary of state.

GSA is the company (if you call back to complain, their voicemail is "full" (probably with irate messages!).

They are trying to sell to Medicare/Medicade candidates (I call it "preying on old people").

They are in violation of FCC/FTC regs (they don't screen their auto-dialer's call list with the nat'l Do Not Call Registry: my number's been on it for WAY over the minimum time!).

I've given them 24 hours notice to call me back (their office voicemail may be "full", but their autodialer's recording space seems to have plenty of room for messages... so I left one!), regarding their non-compliance.

I'll post an update if/when they call back... don't hold your breath!

I wasn't here when they called me, but when I called them back I got a This is GSA please leave a name and number we will get back to you. I needless to say did not leave my number. I had blocked mine.

Have gotten this number calling a few times lately and no one there when I pick it up. Just shows "out-of-area" on the caller ID.

Got a call this morning and it was a recording about Medicare benefits

This number does not leave messages and does not reply when the phone is answered.  I called the listed phone provider- Grande Communications 512-878-4600 and they claim not to be the provider of this number.

This Cal Hero also owns MedicareMall.com, a new website (http://www.whois.net/whois/medicaremall.com), and is calling people under that company name as well. Hopefully seniors will research him and his company before trusting his "family business" to handle their Medicare insurance

They called after 9 PM, another violation of DNC registry. File a complaint online with FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm. Enough complaints may prompt action and fines.

Well, as promised, here's the update (yes, GSA finally called me back!):

GSA stands for "Golden Senior Advisors" owned by Mr. Cal Dean Hero of San Marcos, TX (GSA is a sole-proprietorship registered in Hays County, TX).

He claims there's an IT problem with his server (supposedly the SQL server that updates his calling database against the FCC's DoNotCall list) that is allowing calls to go out to folks like me on the DNC list.

I indicated to him that regardless of his technical problems, he is not allowed to operate his equipment while it is in violation of FCC rules.
I also chastised him about cold-calling non-senior households (of which I am one), and that he and "his family" need to resort to the old-fashioned method of manually dialing prospective customers who are NOT on the DNC list.

He seemed genuine in his desire NOT to wantonly violate the rules ("...we're a small, family-run business...and I wouldn't want the FCC to come and try to shut us down..."), but I did not get an overt assurance from him that his auto-dialer would be taken offline.

Since it took him 2 days to call me back, I'm filing a complaint based on at LEAST 3 days of operating in violation of FCC regs.
