this phone apparently is registered to TRAVIS COUNTY PATROL UNIT at 9th st downtown austin. So i guess when these fat a** bored cops ran out of donuts... they would start calling random numbers and would be like.. HELLO?! HELLO?! HELLO?1 WHO IS THIS??

I RECEIVED THE SAME PHONE CALL...DIDN'T ANSWER BUT CALLED NUMBER FROM OTHER PHONE WHEN IT WAS RINGING.  NO ANSWER..STILL CALLING NO ANSWER.

Wrong #. Said they were returning a call from somebody with wedding questions?

This numbered called me twice now I know it's the same stupid trick that called earlier an 0227 from her other number (which I have saved) she called asking for France's after I told her no the first time she got pissed and cussed at me so I texted her back a few words ofy own now she calls from this number 2 times before I pick up and then 2 more times after i pick up as if France's was going to magically answer after the 6 times she's called didn't matter but idk if she works for the city or what but my caller ID on her actual nber says she's from San Marcos hope this helps if she calls you again tell her to screw off!!

I got a call from it 3:10 am it grumbled something weird and hung up

I 512 854 0000 is a generic code caller I.D. from any caller in the Travis County (Austin) Texas system. It is not a traceable or return call available number. I spoke with  the Travis County switchboard operator who said the ONLY way to know who is calling is to answer the phone.

It can be anything from the Sheriff's Department to the vehicle impound unit.

The number is the caller ID for Travis County Municipal Offices. I just received a call from the coroner's office of Travis County and this is the number that appeared.

I just got a call from this number this morning.  Can't think of why Travis County would be calling me.  They didn't leave a message. Tried to call back and it just rang and rang like everyone else has said.  Weird.

I received a voice message from this number.  It was bona fide - a call from Travis County JP court letting me know that I didn't have to report for jury duty next week.

This is the main trunk number for Travis County.  It is the number that shows up on caller id when anyone calls from a telephone owned by Travis County.  No one will ever answer the number because it does not go to a desk.  You must know the persons extension to call them.

I got a call from this number last week. It was to inform me that my jury duty has been canceled. Nice to know that it seems a legitimate phone number.

I believe that to be true because my girlfriend was arrested last night and she called my cell phone from this number, I was able to talk to her, but when I tried to call it back there was no answer. It's a generic phone number for the State of Texas.

I just got a call from this number.  They left a message saying they were from Travis County Health and Human Services.  I had previously contacted them about emergency rent assistance.  It looks like it's a generic number for many Travis County offices, since the callback number he left was different.

Got 2 calls from this number...no message...tried calling back but it just rang.

i got a call from this number at about 4:15am when i answered, there was noone there and then they just hung up. i tried calling back but it just kept ringing.

Wanted to know if i used to be Marilyn (maiden Name).  When I said yes, they asked if I ever worked for Roy's Taxi Cab service.  I said no and they hung up.  Tried to call the number back and there was no answer.

i recieved a call around 2:30 am. didn't answer, but knowone I know called from jail or any other travis county office.

got the call and was sure it was telemarketing that somehow got my cell# but nope, it was a call saying i was released from jury duty!
