actually, f**got, most of these people didn't put their number down. I've never contacted "everest". I Just bought a new phone and the day after buying it, haven't even given my number out to EVEN MY FRIENDS YET, and I started receiving calls from everest. So how bout that one Mr. Knowsfuckingeverything?

I actually got a voice mail, and all they left was a phone number. It was a woman's voice and I heard some music playing in the background.

ONE MORE THING..THEY DONT LEAVE A MESSAGE BECAUSE THEY WANT TO ACTUALLY TALK TO THE PEROSN THEY ARE LOOKING FOR..ALSO, IF THEY WERE TO LEAVEA  MESSAGE EVERYTIME THEY CALLED YOU WOULD HAVE A NEW MESSAGE EVERY HOUR..THEY ALSO WILL ONLY CALL 7AM-8PM. UNLESS SOMEONE ASKED THEM TO CALL AFTER OR BEFORE THAT TIME..SO STOP BITCHING AND JUST ANSWER THE PHONE

okay for all of you who DONT KNOW WHY THEY ARE CALLING YOU....YOU DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY PUT YOUR NUMBER INTO THEIR DATA BASE!  i used to work for the company that works for them..the people calling you..ya i was one of them...if you dont answer they keep calling because they didnt reach you...if you give them the info they assume you want the info...so, you gave them permission to call..its also on an automatic dialer..so the people are not calling you personally..so stop being f****ng cry babies..answer the phone say it was a mistake im not interested in going to your school or any other school...let them say who they are because they have that legal right..than when they say thank you hang up..it takes up to 72 hrs to be removed..but you MUST ANSWER THE PHONE! DONT PICK UP AND SAY STOP CALLING ME..DONT CUSS AT THEM..JUST SAY IM NOT INTERESTED ANY LONGER OR I DONT WANT YOU TO CALL ME AND CONFIRM YOU ARE THE PERSON THEY ARE ASKING FOR!  BECAUSE IF U DONT SAY YOUR THE PERSON THEY ARE LOOKING FOR..THEY WILL KEEP CALLING YOU UNTIL YOU SAY YOUR NOT INTERESTED, THIS IS ___ STOP CALLING ME NOW, OR ____ DOESNT LIVE HERE STOP CALLING THIS NUMBER... AND AS A RULE OF THUMB .... DONT PUT YOUR PHONE NUMBER DOWN IF YOU DONT WANT A PHONE CALL!  THAT IS A NO BRAINER!

Get call from this number almost daily. The caller never leaves a message. Obviously not genuine caller - black sheep in our society.

I have received 23 calls in total from this number in the past 2 weeks!!! I finally answered only to find out it was a rep from Everest College. I have no idea how they even got my number. I told the rep that I wasn't interested, I already have my career and to please take my number out of their system. Sure enough, a few days later I started receiving calls from them AGAIN!! I'm ready to call my wireless provider and have them block this number because I can't take it. I am definitely reporting them for harassment.

Everyday about 3 to 4 times a day I get calls from this number.

OMG! ITS EVEREST REALLY?? I'm from toronto and this is USA area code. WTF? I called them once asking about one of their programs, I'm already signed up from another college. They won't leave me alone:( Holy BEJESUS!

this caller is a creeep and just calls and wants to listen your voice then hangs up.

Apparently one of our employees put their work number down and now we are receiving numerous calls daily from this number.  I spoke to the person once and explained that the employee could not take phone calls while working and to stop contacting her at her place of employment.  Now the calls continue but they simply hang up when the phone is answered.  I researched the number and it is Everest University and a telemarketing division.  Can't something be done to stop this action?

I contacted Everest several months ago about some courses that they were offering. Upon further investigation i found out that they are a waste of time. I only spoke with someone from Everest once but they immediatly started sending me special offers if i enroll now and letters saying that i have already been accepted all i have to do is call them back and provide them with the special acceptance code provided in the letter. These guys must be really hard up for people to enroll in there school that they feel the need to harrase and annoy people to the point that they feel like changing there phone numbers. I regret having ever contacted these guys and hope that they figure out a way to get a life and start acting in a more appropriate manner soon.

these people from this number call very often especially at my job where i have very exclusive patients VIP patients. it is to a point where i have been put on probation until these people stop calling my job. They call every half hour and i have no idea what they want. I will loose my job and will file a law suit against these people if the phone calls do not stop.

I got my new phone just about 1 week ago and this freakin number called on the first day. and It's been calling me ever since. -____- Is this spam or something? Cuz I've never even heard of "Everest" so ugh, what should I do? This is really getting on my nerves!

I did what you said and it seemed to work. Instead of pressing 1 and 2 just press 1 again. Also, you can report Everest to the Better Business Bureau or I think possibly even the State Attorney. You can find more info on how to do this simply by using google. Trust me, if enough of us take action Everest University will suffer the repercussions.

Hi everybody!

I think I started to figure out what is going on with this mysterious number. A while ago I started getting the calls from this number 3-4 times a day and I still am getting them on a daily basis. So I went to my phone company provider and asked them to block this number because it is bothering me. They agreed to help provided  they  add $5.00 more to my monthly plan  for this service and also will renew my contract for 3 more years. My contract with this company is expiring on March,2011 and I am not gonna stay with them as I do not want to be hooked with a contract anymore! So my guess is that the phone companies themselves force these spam calls on their customers numbers to suck out more money from them. It's like the computer guys are creating new viruses to make people pay for anti-viruses.I can hardly believe it is too difficult to just track this number and shut  it  down after so many complains. I assume it's been initiated by the phone companies!!

Just got called from this number again and answered it. They asked for Steven.  I said they had the wrong number, and hung up.  I have not visited Everett College or requested information from them at all.  Would not tell me who she was.
