They didnt call me but I responded to an ad they had on craigslist (renting a house). Thank god I googled the phone number and ran accross this site before I did anything stupid.

Answered an ad on Craigslist South Coast, About a home for rent in Plymouth MA. Got a text ed answer and replied. the second text response sounded odd, Googled the responding text number and found this site. The Bass Tards!!!!

This person in a scammer! They are trying to rent properties that they do not own. They will tell you that if you send money they will send you the keys within 24 hours. The man or woman will state that they were just recently transferred for work and since they had to move so quickly they were unable to find a renter. They have the keys with them and if you want to view the house you can go look at the outside. If you want it you can send them money and they will send you keys. The problem is they DONT own the house and this is a scam to get you out of money!!! If you tell them that you are on to their scam they will send you threatening emails, texts and phone calls! Don't answer this number if you don't, don't believe anything they say and call your local authorties!!
