Number relentlessly calls and does not leave a message.  It should be considered harassing.  They apparently out of Ohio.

I get 10-12 calls a day, I do not answer

Received 10 phone calls in the last two weeks from two different "collection agency's" claiming I be from Macy's and am up to date on all of my payments and have never been late on a payment. They asked me for my SSN, and that's when I knew it was crap...no reputable company asks for that info over the phone!

Caller purportedly from Macy's. Wanted my account number. I said no way would I give a scam artist my account information. And my account balance is zero. I told her to stop calling me. I then called Macy's and asked that they notify their fraud department. Suggest everyone else do the same.

This number is for Macy's Credit Service. It says it is Mason, OH, however, when you call the number back or answer all you get are representatives with an Indian accent. True, I was a week and a half late paying my bill, however, I did pay it. Even though I am now current, they CONTINUE to call 8-10 times a day, and it has been 2 weeks since I paid my bill including the late fee. SO ANNOYING. I finally blocked the number with my cellular provider.

Called attorney general office this am.

I receive about 6 calls a day. never leave a message on my answering machine.When I called back, I found out  its a collection agency for Macy. Can you please help me to stop this calls Its so annoying that when I answered no one speaks thank you

Called this number back, 513-523-8028 Mack's Credit Services. Hadto wait for a long time but got though. When I did get to talk to somone they asked for my account number. Well I don't have one never will. Our unlisted number belonged to someone elese. I got passed along to several people an finally was told they will remove my number.  When you call this number 1-866-593-2543 Macy's credit office just tell them any number to get someone. That's what I did. Good Luck

It sounds like Macy's/Bloomingdale's is selling our names. You have an account and good-standing or not, they're calling, hoping to get more information.

So I googled the number and this forum popped up.  My x had or has a Macy's card and now they are calling our old number we had together.  The first time I answered the phone and they hung up and then it started, almost like clock work 8am, 1230 pm 3 pm and 9 pm every day.  Same thing and I let the answering machine picks up and they hang up.  Fed up I google disconnected wav file and found the exact message for a disconnected number and I recorded it so I could play it at will.  By the way they have a whole lot of funnier things in a wav file like deposit .25 cents to complete this call is a great one.  When I recorded the disconnected message I used a towel on the speaker and mic which made the recording sound real when it was played back.  I am just waiting for them to call back at 9 pm and I will tell you guys if this works.

I have just about had enough of these Slum Maggots from India calling for no reason. Can't these poor slum dogs with there red-dot foreheads find a better method of earning money. Maybe if someone just happen to leave a ticking package at there embassy here in DC they may get the message, F&*^ing Hindus or what ever them head wrapped thurds....

They call everyday..

I'm going to see how far I can get with Ghandi the next time he calls. I'm going to ask why the red dot on my forehead keep dripping down and do Indian women know how to do head....

I answered the call after reading these posts and sure enough it was exactly what everyone said.  So I decided to play along.  He said my Macys Account was past due and I could pay it over the phone.  I said ok, what do you need?  He said "give me the last four digits of your checking".  I gave a made up number and he sais "that doesn't match, can you give me the entire checking account number?"  I said sure and gave him another made up number.  He asked me to repeat it, at that point I was laughing to hard and had to hang up.  
What's sad is that some people actually fall for these scams.

Keep getting this call over and over sometimes 4 a day.  If it is from Macy's, I have never had a card from them and am tired of it.  How can I get rid of this? Caller ID says credit services.

Okay.. I just called macys this is not them BEWARE... SCAMMERS.....

I don't know what to say for those of you who are being "harassed" but this is indeed Macys Collections Dept (and other Federated-owned stores).  As Patricia noted, a Star Rewards card has two components, standard revolving store credit and the external account so you can use the card like a Visa, tho ours is AmEx, and get rewards points.  We were informed that we had not made 2 months of payments and a quick investigation showed that their online payment system (incl. our "auto minimum pay") had failed for who knows why.  In any event, the caller knew our account number, could read our account history, incl. past payments ... so it is not phishing or scamming.  Macys online systems has always been horrible.  We will just stop using this card.

I passed gas into the phone..hope this stops them..I am debt free..NO reason for this phone call..If U decide to pick up.....tell them that you are recording this phone call....and that you will pass on to police if needed....

Say they are Macy reps but need my info just to take me off their call list.  I contacted Macy's they say no it is not their company do not give any info to them. I do have a Macy's acct that has a zero balance. I reported them to FCC

They were calling me by mistake as I don't now, nor have I ever had, a Macy's credit card.

I have these fools calling at least 5 times a day and if I answer it they just hang up.

I continue to get a call from 513-573-8028 and I have to block them on my phone.

I get those calls too.
So I call it.
When I get someone I ask them to hold.
I keep them on hold till they hang up.

DO NOT TALK TO CALLERS FROM INDIA, ASK FOR AN AMERICAN IN AMERICA.  MACY*S SENDS IT BUSINESS TO INDIA FOR TAX REASONS.  THEY PAY LESS IN FEDERAL AND STATE TAXES AND THE INDIAN EMPLOYEE DO NOT PAY AMERICAN TAXES OR CONTRIBUTE TO OUR ECOMONIC SITUATION.
BOYCOTT THE INDIAN CALL CENTERS, PAY TAXES LIKE THE REST OF US.
American Express and many other credit card companies use India call centers - Demand to speak to an American in America.
We have a high unemployment rate, our American can man centers here in the US.
And, by the way I do have a Macy*s card since 1982 and I never carry a balance. I own nothing, use the card once a year.

yeah me too I start getting those phone calls all day,I never answer them. But  I do have an account with macy's no balanced. What's their problem

My wife authorized payment over the phone which concerned me at first. But when I checked our account online, there was a payment made to Macys, So it seems legit to me. However, it'salways good to er on the side of caution when someone is requesting critically personal information on the phone. So my advise, if they call you, is to deal with Macys as to how much or if you owe them and make it right with them.

Could you please tell me how to block the number.  I can't take it anymore- these stupid phone calls  thanks
