Your smart phone has an "add to blacklist" feature. This blocks the caller from using your minutes. If your phone doesn't have this, get one that does.

Just today received three calls! Two calls were back to back!

English? So sick of these people, the DNC list must include everyone, NOT a chosen few!

This is a valid research company. They have my number from another research company I do studies for. They did ask my permission to give my number to this Research. I have done several studies with this company and have made some good money for it.  I have never experienced any problems with them at all and they have kept my information private.

I have been getting calls from these people for 3 years.  The first time they called I asked what it was about and told them I wasn't interested and politely asked to be removed from their list.  They reassured me that they would do so immediately.  a few days later they began calling me constantly, several times a day, for several days.  I called back repeatedly and reminded them that I had asked to be removed from their calling list and that I did not want them calling me anymore.  They claimed it just took a few days to get my number removed.  I didn't hear from them for about two months and then they started calling again. I asked again to be removed and that's how its been for the past three years.  I don't hear from them for a couple months, then they call, I ask them to stop, they stop for two or three months and then start calling again.  If anyone knows something I can do besides complain to the do not call website, because I have many times, please let me know.

Survey for Yard Machines (a branch of MTD).  Idiots calling me at 9pm as well.

I kept getting calls from this number on my cellphone, and because I do take quite a few surveys, I didn't know if this was a legitimate research company or not. After several calls, I knew it was not, because valid survey companies don't keep calling you several times a day. I changed the settings and now my cellphone sends this number directly to voicemail, no ringing. That is as far as they will ever get when they call, I am not disturbed, and all is well.

This is Market Vision Research and they are part of P & G and call people who may be interested in participating in PAID studies on various products they market & sell. If you ever signed up via phone or e-mail to  any study jobs affiliated w/ P & G, your number may get passed around to their various research facilities. I do many studies for these various research groups and it pays well for a short visit. They are legitimate Research groups. Proctor & Gamble is a big Corp. in Cincinnati, OH, so they have many facilities in and around the city of Cincinnati. If you are interested in and like to try out new products, talk about products, etc. this is a great place to make some extra income.

they called after 9PM, and when I told the woman it was after 9 she hung up on me. I called back and she answered and when I asked her who she thought she was calling after 9, she hung up again...they obviously know they are in the wrong calling after 9. They guise their company as Not being a telemarketing company so they can get around the do not call list. I have been on the do not call list for quite awhile now, I have even had to renew my number on it, but it apparently doesn't apply to these people. However they can't get around the fact that it is harassment when they call after 9 PM. I plan on filing a complaint against them.

We keep getting calls from this "Market Vision Research" company. When I asked "Sheena" for a contact number she said she didn't have one. I asked how can a company not have a phone number considering she was calling me on the phone. She told me that she did not have a direct line, but then could not tell me the main number for the company that she works for. She responded with the city and state, I kindly explained that the city and state is not the phone number of the company! Even when you are 5 you know the difference! I don't know about you but when I go to work I make sure I know the phone number of where I am. I even teach my students who are 8-9 years old that they need to know their phone number! I asked then to speak to a supervisor she put me on the phone with "Nysha then the woman's name changed to Catherine" when I asked her how to spell her name.  She introduced herself as the supervisor then changed it to night manager then back to supervisor! This woman was extremely rude and I asked how we can get their company to stop calling our home! Considering we have made this request numerous times before we had reached our point! She said just to ask! I told her we have been and she finally said that she would talk to Sheena (probably the person right next to her) not to say no when we asked them not to call. Also really after so many calls do they really think that our frustrated input is really the best choice for "research?" I teach my students to listen and they work hard to do so, but what's the point when these people are trained to not comprehend what we are saying! There has to be a stop to these calls so families can have quality time together without harassing calls such as these! The DNC list covers people selling things, but what about the companies that are collecting our info to sell to these companies? They should be a part of these laws as well!!!!

got a call from them and no message.  was FURIOUS because my cell phone minutes are precious because they're so expensive.  Would have been even madder if they reached me and I wasted more minutes with them.  Shame on a marketing company for making people pay with their minutes to be called without asking for it!

Have received 2 or 3 calls from this company over the last 2 days.  I do not give out my number to any merchant unless I specifically ask and the confirm that they DO NOT sell phone numbers of customers for marketing or research.  The only merchant contact I had was Monday with Hasbro Littlest Petshop Toys.  The calls from this research company started after that.  I am on the DO NOT CALL register, and this is not supposed to happen; however, today I'm taking another person's comments from this forum and I'm emailing their VPs and COO about this incident.  Further, I called the FTC DO NOT CALL register again today, 1-888-382-1222 and re-registered my number.  In 31 days from today, all telemarketers are supposed to STOP contacting me at the registered number, and if they don't I can file a complaint with the FTC.  I made a note of the date registered, and you can bet I'm counting 31 days from today.  Everyone should take these steps if you haven't already.

If it was so important that they call me, why don't they leave a message?

I received a call from this number: 513-603-6340 last night asking me if I had time to speak to her.  She states she was not trying to sell me anything but would like to ask me some questions.  She somehow had my first and last name and obviously my cell number.  I told her, I was not interested and to remove my number from their list.  I also called FTC Do Not Call Registry at 1-888-382-1222 to register your number to the FTC to placed on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY for Telemarketers and if you want to file a complaint against the telemarketers you then go on the webpage: donotcall.gov and register the number and information to file a complaint.

want the info to call the company to complain like i did?

They called after 9 pm and I was sleepimg, my husband didn't want to wake me up because I was sick. He just picked up and then hung up on them. Isn't there a law that they can't call after a certin time?

Keeps calling to talk to the "boss".  She says they're taking a survey.  It's getting old...
