Got a call today from the number,  After i said hello it was an Indian dude with a heavy accent wanting me to go sit at my computer and hold the ctrl key down for 5 seconds.  He insisted he was working for microsoft, and mentioned that about 5 times. I hung up.  What does holding the ctrl key down for 5 seconds do?

Got a call from this number as well at around 5pm today. Didn't pick up the phone, but I noticed it ran for over two minutes.

Just got a call. Said it was 5128305044 from cleveland ohio. Since i do not know anyone from there i assume its a telemarketer. No msg or voicemail left. Its odd since i am on the do not call list

this number called my cell at 8pm. rarely give my cell to anyone. did not answer it. I am in Vancouver BC.

This number called both my husband and my cell tonight. We did not pick it up because we did not know the number. Its annoying as we are both on the do not call list. We have to pay for each call (that we answer), although we didn't answer this it's so annoying.  We keep our cell numbers private. In ontario.

just received a call from this number, imagine my surprise to see all these previous posts. Moral do not answer a number that you do not recognize. I am in BC Canada

Received a call from 513-830-5044 on my Virgin Mobile at 8:05 pm Vancouver, BC time.

Did not answer and no voicemail/text message was left.

Might be spam and I don't know anyone or have any family/friends in Ohio.

I am on the do not call list and nobody has my cell number except family and friends!

I received a call, did not answer... Think it was a missed call, did not leave a message, therefore I did not call back. Was wondering who was calling me...

Have you ever looked up who can call you.  There is several like gov't agencys, political parties etc.  ALSO if you talked to a DNCL person, they can not stop USA calls.  Most of the one's you get can show a Canadian area code and it is really from the USA done through computers.  The DNCL people do a good job of what they can legally do.  It's the USA that they can't stop.  Look things up and find out the proper info before you keep blaming them.

Yeah, a scary message about debt consolidation. My number is on the Government of Canada National Do Not Call List, so I expect there may be some follow-up after I lodged an official complaint.

I get 3 calls a day and they say NOTHING!!!! When I call back, it says the number is disconnected. No biggie-just annoying :(

A man Scott left me a message he was calling from web image hosting site "AUTIVA" ,runs images (hosts) with Ebay. Sold a few items with photo gallery as a trial on my ebay account last month. He was sniffing for me to sign up for a full service, I am just a mum at home selling some personal bits and dont need a big flash account. I must have submitted my mobile number when I set it up. Free tool on ebay. Very thick USA accent, and he left a message about 1 minute long on Voicemail. I suppose its USA telesales. I reside in Scotland ,UK. Wont be ringing him back :P
