My experience is the same as everyone stated.  I am sick of these calls.  Ironically, they are calling my home fax machine and have no other numbers thankfully.  I don't have any outstanding debt and when I ask the nature of the call they cannot find me anywhere in their system!  Then quit calling me!!!!!!

FYI, it's general practice for debt collectors to do ? skip tracing? and locate contact information for your family, neighbors and anyone who may or may have lived with you.  They're slime and if they continue to  your family, friends, employers, etc., lodge a complaint with anyone you can.  They could be smearing your reputation just by reaching out to them, everyone knows the feel of a collection call so just because they say ? this is a personal.business matter? to appear as if they're respecting your privacy, only someone living under a rock might not make the connection.

These vultures call approximately every 1/2hr-1 hour.  I've already handled my obligation with GE via agreement yet the continually call.  On an average day, I'll have calls beginning at 5 am and continuing throughout the day/night.  They never leave a message and if I residuum the call it immediately hangs-up.  I've had it with their pestering.

I am also on the DO-NOT-CALL list/registry, but they call anyhow.
They start calling at 8 am on the nose and call up to 9 pm, weekends AND holidays!

this number keeps calling every day about every hour or two all day long! I block it but they just start calling from another 513-878...number.
they never leave a message nor do they answer when we say hello. I'd like them to stop and I'd like to sue them!

idk who these ppl are but they are calling me at 9:00 at night.  Isn't that illegal?  I thought telemarketers, etc, weren't allowed to call after 8:00pm or 8:30pm.

i think its jempak services.  i called it back and a indian woman answered and said that.

It's another collection arm of GE Money Bank, which also uses Convergys, Allied Interstate, Asset Acceptance and Encore Receivable. I have sent certified letters to their attorney in NYC, and also to their CEO Alan Summerlin at his home address.

Every month they form a new company.

Calls twice every 20 minutes on my cell.  If I don't answer during the day (because i'm working!) does not leave a message.  If I answer no one says anything and they hang up.  Enough is enough.  If I call back goes to a recording and I wait and wait.  Isn't this harrassment?  If someone would answer I could find out what they want.  There is no name on the caller ID.

This collection agency has called my house as many as 4 times a day. They never speak to my voice mail. I am listed on the National Do Not Call Registry. One day I got mad and called the number. Man who answered the phone sounded like someone from India. I told him I am on the DO NOT CALL list. He asked me if I had a PayPal account. I told him if I did have that credit card account, it was my business and my bankruptcy lawyer will deal with it. The point of this call is STOP CALLING ME and acting like children by not speaking.

Both a friend and I in Portland, OR are receiving calls from this # multiple times a day.  We JUST blocked a number from Utah area code (801) that was behaving in a similar manner.

solicitors can call until 9 pm in the time zone that phones area code is registered to so for example some one with a califoria area code living in new york will be called until 11.  this was how it worked when i worked for pnc's collection department.

I dont know who these people are but they call my cell phone several times a day and they do not leave a message (I dont answer if I dont know who is calling). I decided to call back and found that they are associated with an account that my parents have. Why are they calling me? I have nothing to do with them or with my parents affairs. I just upgraded my cell phone account and got a new number, but somehow they acquired my number.
