I got a call from this number and did not answer it. They did not leave a message. If it were a real fraud detection service, from my back, they would have left a message.

My banks online customer service is down till tomorrow at 9.
This place called and asked for me by name (so that was verified sadly)
They claimed to be representing First Niagara Bank.
Wanted verification I'd attempted to make a purchase in England.
(I had but it had been blocked and I still don't know why)
Checked my bank balance immediately and WILL be down at my bank tomorrow 9am to close out the debit card and put my account on monitor.

513-900-4000 is the caller ID for as fraud prevention company used by several banks. I got a call and let it go to voicemail. Picked up a cryptic message with my name and mention of debit card fraud and having my debit card locked. My bank verified they were working with this company.
They stopped an out of state hotel charge on my account. They never asked for any personal data, just told me of the attempted fraud which my bank verified.

number just called me on LABOR DAY.. which we ALL KNOW financial institutions are closed because it is a government holiday.. and just told me they were from fraud detection services from capital one bank. THIS is a scam! BE warned.. if u call the number back or answer, if u give them any information, u WILL Have ur identity stolen! I repeat DO NOT even give or confirm your name.. THEY already have ur credit card information, the more information u give them more they can use to gain access to other accts as well. PLEASE.. if u get a call.. GO IN PERSON to your local bank the next time they are open and CLOSE DOWN your card and have them issue a new card.. and have them review acct for any possible charges you have not made!!

It's fraud detection services. They notified me about possibly fraudulent charges on my debit card.

I just received a call from that number. It's the fraud department at First Financial Bank.
