I have a call to my office phone every day.  I want this to stop.  The company calling me is PC Mall.  They never leave a message. just keep calling every day.

This is actually a PC Mall number, they call over and over and if someone picks up and sounds mad they say they are PC Connection to not soil their name, very shady business practice...

Yes this is PC Mall and they call my office frequently, even after I've let them know that we're not interested in purchasing anything.   I will not even consider giving them any sales just because of this.

The Do not Call list applies only to residential and cell phone. Businesses are allowed to call businesses. You are in business to do business. So are they. Simply because you think that the only kind of business that exists is retail and the only valid marketing strategy is buying TV ads and sitting on your a** and hoping does not mean a thing legally.

It's funny too! That these people complain, and they actually live in Canada. Whereas Pcmall clients are all from USA. May i repeat "USA" So, How come you are claiming your recived phone calls from Pc Mall?!! I am working at PC Mall and I have been earning good money, and it's not a scam!! I am working for Government division, wherein We actually worked closely with Government Agencies from the US and all the school district in the US. We provide IT Solution not just to corporate offices but to government and education as well. and FYI, to be successful in this type of job you have to have knowledge of IT if not, you wont last long! In short, you have to have brains! They dont just call random people and get informations. Listen to what they have to say and you will learn a lot!

MacMall calling me back regarding an order I placed, nothing nefarious. Their customer service call center is in Montreal, QC.

Watch what happens if you do business with this company. They will bate and switch you on products , promotions and products. They have sent me grey market items in the past numerous times that have no warranty. They will go in high and ask for a competitor's quote so they will beat it. They tend to beat it but with what as a replacement I ask ? Do yourself a favour and remember the old saying .. You get what you psy for...

I've had more than 4 calls from (514) 373- 8700 and 3 or 4 voice mails which were just a few seconds of silence.  I don't know anyone in Quebec.  I'm guessing it's some sort of scam after seeing the posts here.

(514)373-8700 is a PC Conneciton number.  This guy doesn't know when to to quit so I just never pickup the phone.

Won't take no for an answer. They are disrecpectful and UNPROFESSIONAL. One day they claim to be PC Mall the next they are PC Connection...Either way we are not buying ANYTHING from them,

I understand that they are just doing thier jobs, but companies like this just plain suck.. I get 30-40 calls like this every week and have since stopped even answering my office phone for outside calls I don't recognize.
I'm looking at this phone number in my call logs 14 times this week.. Rediculous..

Find their 1-800 number and call them back as many times as they find annoying.  They get charged for those calls so maybe they will pick up the hint.

Why don't you talk to them? They are an IT reseller, like CDW and Insight. They sell everything that those vendors sell and some additional products and services as well. In today's eceonomy, would it not behoove you to have one more quality vendor of IT products available? You know, to compare prices against CDW and  to save your company money?

I have tried to order once from MacMall. They were rude and not able to fulfill the order in a business like manner. I cancelled the order. Since then they send spam to the email address that I gave them when ordering although this email address is configured to reject any incoming mail. Now they called my cell phone, which is on a do-not-call list. I can not see anything valid, ethical or professional about such a call. Seem like they are just another pushy company that nobody needs.

I don't work and my cell phone number is known only to immediate family members.  Why in the world would these people be trying to sell me anything.  I barely know how to use the phone!  I'm going to continue ignoring them because answering would seem to confirm they've got a live one.

This guy has been calling my work on  a daily basis, somethimes more than once, asking for our IT Manager. I used to put him to voicemail but finally I asked him to stop calling. He went off cursing at me and telling "we dont use calling lists here" and that only the IT Manager could request the calls stop. He continually got more rude and when I asked to speak to his manager immediately  he cackled and said "good luck finding him b***h! Im going to need your name because Im going to make you lose your job today." That was last week and he is still calling daily.

Got a call from one of their reps trying to sell me stuff...so I bought into it because he said he could give me the lowest price anywhere (bragging that I couldn't beat his deals)!  I gave him the specs for a custom built server that I built on newegg.com and told him to beat that price w/ the same specifications! He came back saying he couldn't and tried to sell me something that was a refurbish box and did not even meet my custom built server.  I think this guy took me as an idiot and was trying to insult my intelligence saying that his box was better than the one I custom built.  There's a reason why I custom built it! so that it would be the latest and greatest and it was no were better!  So I told him I wouldn't buy it and his business opportunity with me is done because he could not deliver.  He then tried to call me multiple times afterwards and finally when I picked up (2 months later after telling him to stop calling me) he said what the hell, you don't want to talk to me, I thought we had a deal? I said of course I don't and wish you stop calling me.  He then cussed me out and I said bye.

Ditto. I've done business with PC Mall & Mac Mall for the past 12 years and have nothing but great things to say about their prices, products & service. It's unfortunate that several unqualified sales reps are cold-calling good customers. I called & complained to my direct sales rep and said that if it happens again, I will no longer be doing business with them.

I received a call from this number today at work. The caller asked it I was interested in updating a particular piece of software. When I started asking questions about her identity and her affiliation with MacMall (thank goodness for the internet as I Googled the phone number while I was on the line with her.) she got very defensive. I logged into my MacMall Corporate account profile and asked her to start confirming pieces of information on my account and she couldn't. The more I asked her, the more nervous she became. I asked her to confirm my last purchase with MacMall and then she hung up on me. I immediately called the number back and it turns out it actually is Mac Mall, Montreal. Since I have been a long-standing customer with MacMall, I called Customer Service immediately and filed a complaint for the inappropriate cold-call that I received at my place of business, which that phone number isn't even listed in my profile and I have NO idea how she obtained it. Anyhow, Customer Service informed me that the Sales Rep was employed there after I gave her extension number and name that she'd be reprimanded for her inappropriate phone behavior.

This number keeps calling me and they are not there when I pick up.  They call at work and it is very frustrating.  I don't understand why companies try to sell you stuff in this fashion anymore.. I don't care how good their product is if they've annoyed me for the last week by calling every day and not being there I would NEVER buy their product...  And why is the 'Do Not Call List' so useless? My cell number, my wife's and my home number are all on it and we still get calls... This is ridiculous... Not only that but they are also wasting my cell phone minutes with 2-3 minutes of blank voicemail.  Worthless...

You obviously work for them. Any unsolicited telephone call is an annoyance when you have to stop working to answer a pointless sales call. Cold calls are extremely annoying when you are on the Do Not Call list.

That's because they are not calling you to sell you anything! If you would let them talk instead of jumping to conclusions maybe you would have gotten somewhere..
