got this call on my cell. don't know anyone in Montreal, so didn't answer.  my carrier is rogers.  how'd they get my number?

I got a call from this # 514-382-9318 on May 30/13. Didn't answer but it shows it was from Quebec.

I'm from Montreal. Got the call last night 8:30. Didn't answer. What can we do with this. I put my number on the "Official List" from the CRTC but it's doing F... all! I hate that. When you think that some will actually get caught by this and give them their credit card number and all... OMG What a world we live in!!!

Got a call a least once per day, I am sure it is a telemarketing company. Did not answer, they did not leave a message. I was told by my cell company, it is a major issue , they are trying to stop this as well, they always call on cell phones. THIS IS A FRAUD, DO NOT ANSWER. If you have the possibility to block this number with your cell, please do so to protect yourself.

Very annoying.  I get calls from this number on my personal cell phone as well as my work cell.  It is very frustrating because I am often on call for work for emergencies so I can't just turn that phone off.  I am registered on the "Do Not Call Registry" for telemarketers and I still get this number.  You can't even call it back to speak to someone to have it removed.   Not sure if it is a fraudster or a telemarketer.  I don't answer when I get 514 area code calls as I do not know anyone from Quebec.

Just got a call on my cell from this number.  I called back from a landline and it tells me the phone number is no longer in service! 514-382-9318 stop calling me.

Received a call from this number a few minutes ago. I didn't answer and no message left. I called the number back from my work phone and it said that this number is not in service.

Have been receiving these calls for sometime on my cell.  It tells me I won a free trip, which is total bs we all know nothing is free. It is a scam

Your number got on a list (usually cell number) by installing an app or a game on your smart phone. The makers of these apps/games collect your number and sell it as contact lists to make money. Best thing is to read the fine print before installing these softwares and/or just don't.

Unsolicited call that left a message promoting cruises.

Got a call from that number but they hung up after it rang for a second. Got another call a couple of seconds later and they hung up again after one ring.

got a call from this number didn't answer as i was at work no message so i tried calling later after work got a message number not in service its a scam

Got a call from this number on my cell today.  The caller ID came up as Ancash.

I noticed that I had gotten a call on Sunday June 2nd.  I didn't bother checking my voicemail (or I didn't know how to use it with a shortcut key yet)

Just now wound up here after a search.  I use my Canadian account only one month a year.  Funny that during that short window I get a scam call.

just got a call around 8pm. called twice. montreal area code. called them back and it says the number isn't assigned to anyone.

Is somebody starting to look into all thiese abusive calls with area code numbers from Canada or the States who call often on numbers who are registered on the Do Not Call List? For the past couple of months every week i receive such calls that I do not answer.
