Call arrived on May 16 at 1:59pm. This is a "robocall" from a company which is using an illegal device that allows them to hijack out-of-service numbers (in this case 514-392-9121) in order to mask their true identity.  
This phonebot works thru computer-generated lists of telephone numbers on a regular basis trying to find active numbers. It then compiles these active no's together & then sells them to telemarketing companies for $$$$$$ (hence the reason they are doing it). So do _NOT_ answer (unfortunately I did!). If you answer, the phonebot will flag your number as 'active' which then sets you up for similar calls in the future! ---____---

I also found that number on my cell phone twice. The first time it happened on May 18, 2013 at 3:21 pm. Who would try to call my number?

I even registed on the Do Not Call List operated by the CRTC and I am still getting more and more annoying calls then before.
Really, don't know what is useful to register with CRTC ???

514-392-9121 is a debt collector company with very bad practices. They call you that you have won a free cruise or something similar the collect all your personel information to use against you for debt collection. It is a scam.

Unfortunately the people at Rogers won't do a damn thing.
People have been calling the loca version of this number after they miss the call. There advice to my wife with this same number except the area code, was to change her number. Unexceptable! Very frustrating as you could imagine. They have to be able to ban that number from the whole network. I'm not a idiot, I know it's possible to do such things.
If I find out Rogers is selling my info to those maggot telemarketers, ill kill em!!!

Report them to ur cell company and ask them to block If they don't want to do it give them a lot of sh..t

The phone rings to the number ( 514-392-9121) then it says that the number is not in service, but yet it can call my phone.

This telephone number must belong to a marketing company which has been set-up by the major cellular telephone service providers in order to burn-up their customer's expensive cellular time.
I blame TELUS for selling-on my details!!!

Just received a call from this number -- on my cell -- which is supposed to be a non-listed number.  I do not answer calls from numbers that I do not recognize and how did they get my cell number???  Thanks for the head's up Ace -- !!

I got a call from this number, but was too busy to answer my cell.  Lucky me - I would have been really pizzed off!  Effin Eh-Holes!!!  Get Lost!!!

Just got this call, too. Have had several since I switched carriers, but from different numbers wonder if it's a coincidence, or maybe my previous carrier one of Canada's big three, was able to screen out telemarketing better.

This exact number aside from the area code, belongs to my wife. She is getting countless harassing phone calls from people calling the number back. Even tho her area code is not 514. When they phone it back, depending on what kind of phone they have, it calls the local version of this phone number.
The people behind this sort of stuff are nothing but a bunch of maggots.

Thanks to this thread, at least we know why people are calling her phone so often. Now! How do we stop it!!!?

Got the same call on my home phone and cell.  answerred tbe home line ... Recording about a cruise .... Yeah i won ... Right. Had the option to press 9 at the end to have my number removed from their list. Cell phone is pay as you go ... Won.t waste a penny on these guys!!

D'apres moi ils obtiennent nos numero de telephone a partir des application que l'on installent sur nos telephone. This is a F*cking useless parasitic company staffed by @holes for their own nefarious purposes.

Fight Back! The easiest way to do so is to buy the latest Panasonic phone that has "Call Blocking" feature built right into the phone. The next time these @holes call you, simply add them to the "Bolcked Callers" list and you won't be bothered by that number again.

If you have an Andriod cell phone, simply add the number to the "Blocked Callers" list and never listen to these @holes again.

Got an i-Phone? Simply add their number to the "Blocked Callers" list as well and you are done with them.
