Received a call from Geoge at Digitech today, said they were a member of the Chamber of Commerce (big deal) and that the Minister of Finance set forth a Code of Conduct for credit card processing company in May of 2012 and a lot of the companies were not following it, overcharging us with high rates and fees. He said if I faxed my credit card processing company's statement to him he would get in touch with them and enforce the code of conduct, AND I would not have to pay him for this service, my credit card processing company would have to pay him (yeah right). I asked if Digitech was a credit card processing company and he said no, he wouldn't work for one because they are gouging small to medium business owners with their excessive fees. Did a little research and low and behold, Digitech Payments is a Credit Card Processing Company in Montreal. I hate companies like this that feel they have to lie and scam to get our business. Surely not someone I would do business with!

We get repeated calls throughout the day day in and day out only to pick up and no one is there. They hang up as soon as you pick up.

got the call and they asked me to speak to our accounts and i said no and they hung up.

I wish this people go to hell . they calling early morning , Sat , even Sunday. Is anyone in this country to tell them or stop this stupid people.  

I have once again made contact through the number that someone kindly listed. Should last for another three months before it starts all over again. These people are pests and should have whatever license they use revoked. Don't blame it on the French though. Google can be just as annoying with there calls from all over the states. Wondering if they can be charged with harassment.

I get a call from this number at my business every few days, and no one EVER says anything. Immediate hangup. Finally googled it today.

I called the number Sue posted last March and was told no problem to get taken off the list.  I hope that's all there is to it.

don't we have a CRTC or other government organization to prevent this kind of behavior?  or don't we pay enough taxes to do other than enrich the non elected government employees

I spoke to the owner of Digitech Payments Darrell Garfield. He Tried to sell me on the whole service after i had spoken to one of his telemarketing monkeys . I decided to search the name up on Google before I decided anything. I found a court document indicating he was involved with fraud through State One Financial. He ripped off  people in the USA back in the early 2000.

Do Not Trust This Company!

They call me everyday and hang up?  if they are telemarketers why do they hang up?  They don't even go into their sales pitch????

This number calls me every day at least once.  {514-555-7274}  There is never an answer on the other end .  Very annoying since I operate a small business. Being a mechanic they drag me out from under  a car to see who is calling. I tried to call DIGITECH PAYMENTS but only got their answering machine. I will try again later.  PLEASE everybody, help keep the pressure on these scumbags. Maybe some local citizins would be kind enough to protest in front of this scaming company.

This number belongs to Digitech Payments, to place a complaint call the 1-800 number on the website and select the existing account option. Ask to speak with a manager. The company is registered in Montreal, Quebec as a telemarketer but claims to do paiement processing, this is clearly fraud. Report them to the Consumer Protection Agency http://www.opc.gouv.qc.ca/en/consumer/

I just had a call from them today. I picked up the phone and asked a man what he wanted. He just hung up on me.
I have seen that number on my screen many times...but never had a chance to talk to anybody until today..

How do I get this number to stop calling.  I put it on the "do not call list" months ago.

Thanks for the info Sue. I called them and spoke to an operator who was pleasant and aware of the issue. She has promised me that my number has been removed from their list.

I have to say while I'm here, what's with the negative ignorant comments regarding Quebecer's. I have constant calls from all over North America from people trying to sell my business something and I have never noticed many at all from Quebec. Nor, were they any ruder than any other telemarketer trying to make a buck. Where your from doesn't distinguish the type of person you are. We have just as many *ss holes here in Ontario. Grow a brain and open your mind a little. Sooooo, tired of the racists attitude of people.
