Don't call it back or you will get a huge bill in the mail.  I am currently fighting Bell canada over this issue. It is not a 1-900 # but if you call them there is a 9.99 service charge.

I also got a call from that number tonight. Since I was working I couldn't answer. I am with Telus. At first I thought it could be my sister since she has a montreal number, but it wasn't.

Got this call too- tried calling back and got that it was not in service. Seems like another scam to me.

phone number 514-590-8989- is a Bell Canada number. I have written an email and complained regarding the number and threatened to sue Bell if they do not take immediate action against this number and the company who owns it since they are performing illegal activities. Bell is responsible since they are the service provider. Direct your complaints to them. Be sure to include the phone number.

They called at about 12:14PM while I was out. From BC here.

I got a call from this number twice on my cell phone, suspected that it was given out by my phone company cause I dont hand out those number, I will call and tell them about this. When i called back it said that the number is not in service!

Just got a call at 2:26 PM , 5 minutes ago.  Luckily i missed it caused I answered the wrong phone.  Twice this month, now from scammers.  How the hell did they get my number???  Maybe Facebook!!!

Yeah, i just got a call too, from this number on my cell right after I just received one on my house phone.  Phone company's should be addressing this issue. Some times my phone rings off the hook.  And like mentioned already, there's really nothing you can do.

There certainly are a lot of sleeze-bags in the world and unfortunately most of them have telephone access.  I do not answer ANY calls that I do not recognize the # to - if they want to reach me that bad they will leave a message.  Simple as that.
I wouldn't goad them either as you are wasting your time.  They are awful people who care only for themselves.

Just got the call AGAIN - with Telus Mobility - seems to be about 2x a week.  The guy was quite rude when I told him he should go for a swim in the Guld of Mexico.

It called several time. I don't answer it. Because it said "Hello, you won 3xxx dollars..., if you want to accept, press "1"..." This is surely a fishy call.

Yeah I just got a call from that number as well haha. I just googled it. in Montreal! It`s a scam. I`m with Fido.

in three days ive gotten the same call on my cell phone multiple times, during class and during a test and when i was at home on my computer. honestly wanna get the idea im not gonna answer? and i dont need a scam  its a new phone number id appreciate not having random ppl call my phone :)

This number called my home # today, then 2 Hrs later it called my cell #.  Love to know how they got my cell #..... my mother doesn't even have it.  lol
