i want who calls me

Received an unsolicited letter from a person who would like to buy my house.  Letter was hand-written, but copied, so that only the name, date and address had to be filled in.  Return address is a post office box in TMR.  The phone number was 514-731-2777.  Concerned that this might be fraudulant...  Will look into it!

Same here I received letter too 5 day after registed , the house was a succession probably some one have acces to Land register of Québec

Same letter... yellow paper. phtocopied with hand written text, my name added with a different black pen and a different calligraphy, signed by Marie Vo and her boyfriend Oliver, they have no clue of what kind of propriety I have in fact they do not specify the type of home, apartment or what so ever... they simply used generic arguments with only easy to obtainable personal info (NAME and ADDRESS) checking the previous post in this blog, this person is looking for a property by a long time at least 6 months; most probably is a scam and now that I am reading this blog I am almost sure.
Could anybody confirm the name of the person of this letter of specify if they have a different name!

When you receive a letter from Mary, Marie Vo, Myriam and whoever her boyfriend or fiancé ( Oliver, Olivier... ), send an unidentified letter to the address on the envelope ( which might be a false address, so you will know ) + notify Better Business Bureau, Office de Protection du consommateur, SPVM ( Montreal Police ), Autorité des marchés financiers, Chambre d'immeuble du Grand Montréal.  This company - too shy and unreliable or untrustable to use its real business identity - using this « individuals type of format » is acting like used-cars dealers using a « look-like individual ad » to lure buyers, which is illegal. If many people report the scheme to Office de protection du consommateur + to some Consumers'protection TV programme such as JE - the French Montreal TV station -, other consumers and you may not get harrassed again by these crooks.

Marc, have you ever spoken with the homeowner in prevost?

Do you know anything about their situation? Did you know they were about to lose their homes to the banks? Did you know they actually walked away with nothing because the bank repossessed the property?


I send hundreds of these letters, if not thousands to homeowners looking to buy properties at discounted prices.

If I am unable to buy your property at a discounted price, I will not do business. It's as simple as that. Nothing complicated.

Hi there, I also got this letter, and I decided to call them after a while of hearing there crap I decided to tell them I am a real estate agent. SO I decided to sent the letter to my board of montreal, L'ACAIQ.. I will keep you guys updated with out a license you can resale a property you need a real estate license.

I called and  think i reached thee Mr Olivier Vo, If that was really him that picked up the phone when i called 514 731 2777. I asked him how he got my private information and all he did was dance around the question! I feel whomever is sending out this " personal" yellow handwritten letters asking us to sell our homes to them via canadapost-- Are using the tactics of giving the impression that Olivier and m. cohen are a couple who just happened to pass by and wanted to buy our homes, when infact they are a company??? I also noted that my letter was signed Myriam Cohen and the company sitehttp://www.propriomontreal.ca/  says Marilyn Cohen, Is someone having an identity crisis?? The above complaints from others,makes me feel very upset that personal information was easiliy obtainable from somewhere and i plan to get to the bottom of this!!!!
Perhaps Mr VO and Ms Cohen should just state in the beginning  when contacting anyone regarding the sale of property-what/who their true intentions are.
Today I will be making several calls to the proper authorities and complaining as suggested above!!

Where did that come from? I don't even own that site or am affiliated with that site.

I'm not luring any "buyers" to do business with me, I look for deals because I buy a lot of real estate.

Additional info on our friend OLIVIER VO : if you search the web with our friend's name, you will find that there is a strong concern about this guy and a web site named « http://www.vente-privee.com » for which many consumers purchased goods they never received or received goods they never asked for and were then billed for because the company argued that the shipped goods were never returned to the company !!! What a coincidence : same name and frustrated consumers !!! And lot of money coming in the company with very questionnable manners to earn it !!! And suddenly, lots of money to purchase houses with cash money !!! What a coincidence. This information has also been sent by me to the authorities.

This company - on its website - refers to itself as « honest » !!! What an honest position to use a « individual type of letter » to lure people !!! Also this VO organization brags about buying your home quick and with cash payment !!! That doesn't smell good either. So as reported in my note previous to this one, report this form of false representation to the authorities I have suggested and an offocial inquiry or complaint will be filed against these « to-be-watched » people and company.
