My daughter and I are getting repeated calls also with the same text message and have no connection to any city credit union.  Assume it's a scam.

After I looked this number up under white pages (reverse phone) this is what came up... Job states megaweb Internet....definetly a scam.

My co-worker and I both have TMobile service and both received the same text today-like everyone else - why don't they get a new scam - we're on to them!!

Received second text message with same text as others. Filing complaint with FTC, highly suggest others do the same to stop this behavior. You may file a complaint with the FCC if you receive:

an unwanted commercial message sent to a wireless device; or

a telephone solicitation made to a wireless device for which the phone number is registered on the national Do-Not-Call list; or

any autodialed text message on your wireless device, or an unwanted commercial message to a non-wireless device from a telecommunications company or advertising a telecommunications company’s products or services.

Got the same text everyone has mentioned, today 2/8/10 was the 2nd text I've gotten.  I haven't called the number or responded to the text, I'm blacklisting them each time.

Same here, 2-8-10, and a couple of days ago.

send them a fax stating to quit calling / texting.  set the fax to try 999 times and retry every 5 seconds.  it will only take a few people trying to send faxes all day to clear up the problem.

When called there was a recorded message saying it is an automated service number & asked me to enter my credit card number.

I don't know anything about City Credit Union, so it looks like a scam.

Received a text message from swtifz@messaging.sprintpcs.com stating "VantageCreditUnionHasLimitedYourDebitCard" from this number.  How did they get my cell number to begin with, and how do I stop it?

i also got this scam #. don't give any info!!

I recieved a text stating exactally the following on monday feb 8th at 12:25pm.... giuber@messaging.sprintpcs.com//creditunionwesthaslimitedyourdebitcard 15147372091..  I also have recieved a text a few days ago with a simular bu***hit statement. When I called the number, the voice asked for my sixteen digit card number.

This is a scam for sre. I called the # for s**ts and grins and it asks for you to enter your debit card #. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a similar message from the same # saying

...City Credit Union has limited my debit card... call 514-737-2091

When is someone going to find a way to catch these Mo Fo's?

After i got the same text 3 times as all of you, today i got a new text stating "your city credit union debit card was illegaly used today. please call 9499547933...." Obviously this is a scum, but why can't we block it....Can Sprint PCS do anything? since obviously its coming from their server.....

Have received messages from messages@citycu.org 682-200-3005 and notice@citycu.org same phone #.  Husband called phone number and they wanted credit card #, SSN, and PIN # etc... what a scam! don't call or respond to them.

This is definitely a scam.  Please warn your young teenagers about such things.  They are up to speed on things like this.

I have no connection with this credit union. I see that others have received similiar messages as stated on this site. The number looks to be operating out of Canada. Beware.

Same thing, received by both me and my wife on our cell phones. I'm assuming it's scam spam, since we don't have any accounts with City Credit Union.

02/06/10 at 2:59pm got a txt msg that shows as being from zifpgi@messaging.sprintpcs.com/ / Credit Union West has limited your debit card. Please call 1-514-737-2091. As far as I know neither I nor my ex have any association with this company and have no reason to be receiving a txt from sprint either as they are not my mobile carrier. Obviously a scam as I can see from others as well only the credit union appears to be different.
