got called did not answer

The CRTC allows parasites like this to legally contact us as long as they're a political party or holding a survey. We need to pressure the CRTC to create a No Call List that means just that --  a hard core NCL that includes political parties and surveys. A democracy means the people influence policy. We may live in a more democratic area than some other place that has less but we don't live in a democracy, only a corporate capitalist state.

How can I stop these calls? Picked up once and daid they had the wrong number they continue to call me several times per day.

Lately they call 2 to 3 times per day. I don't answer. They don't leave a message on my machine. Annoying idiots.

1 514 908 2492 has called me 3-4 in the past two day and I don't know who they are or what they want

Well, looks like they are still calling folks.  I just got a call at 10:00 am out here in Calgary.  Showed "Quebec" calling on the ID.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  Idiots!!!  You'd think if they keep getting no answer that they would quit calling.  What do they expect?  Keep calling and at some point I'm going to change my mind and answer just to be entertained?  I'm not that desperate for entertainment.

Get a DAM LIFE....!!!!!!    And quit anoying everyone

Called at 1:32 p.m. in the VCR area today.  They clicked down as soon as I picked up??  The point is ??

Seems to be an ISP or something relate to this type of business.  Somewhere on the net, I found that the phone number is relate to this description:             Allstream Corp. landline from Montreal, QC

I told the caller who claimed to be from BBM that yes I would take the survey but I would not provide my address for privacy reasons and I don't need their $5 compensation and they hung up on me.

Seems pretty fishy to me... they probably give your information to professional thieves.

Called a few times recently, never left message - finally answered today - BBM (similar to Nielsen) doing a radio station ratings survey.  Told the rep I work for a media organisation (we can't participate in those surveys, possible conflict of interest) - rep knew the drill, was very polite and ended the call, if I'm lucky they will flag my # in their database ;).

I have lodged a complaint with the Federal government on these callers, as my number is listed as not usable for telemarketers.

Getting those calls to stop is quite simple.

 1. If you don't recognize the number, don't answer the phone!
 2. Do NOT, I repeat--DO NOT press '1' or '3' or '9' or whatever number they provide, that will supposedly have your number taken off their calling list. When you press that number, all it does is verify that your phone number is valid, and you will receiver even more calls.
 3. Repeat the process ad nauseum.

They'll make three or four tries and if nobody answers, then the number is flagged as 'inactive' or ' invalid' and will be dropped off their list.  It takes a while but eventually the calls DO stop.

There's no point in reporting these calls to the CRTC or FCC or Fraudbusters, since the number is spoofed and the calls can't be traced anyways... so save your time and effort on something worthwhile.

We get calls from this number several times a day.  We don't bother picking it up. Figure they'd leave a message if it was really important.

I am getting so mad at getting calls from this number several times a day......have no idea what the call is about as i have never answered a call from them.and have no intentions of doing so!!!!!!!!!!!

Please stop calling my number don't want no télemarketing understand

This number calls several time a day with name unknown caller and does not leave a message.

They reach me on my cell, which for me is a breach of intimacy. Very respecful as if I was in a secure place to answer their questions. They called back 5 times. The last time was on March 10. They were supposed to send me something to complete. Haven't go it yet but they do have the information they needed. Is this steeling your identity???????????????????

They've called repeatedly. 4 times this evening alone, never leave any message. Very annoying.
