been calling me too. they hang up without saying. I'm not even in 515 area code.

Called by this number 4 times today.  I don't answer unknown numbers - and they don't leave messages.  WTF.

They've called my cell twice in the last 2 hours...once an hour. I don't answer since i'm at work and they don't leave a message. Also got a call that showed up as +5054286368 on my caller id

Yup they just called me, too, and hung up when I answered - but there was a few seconds that passed before they hung up.

Yep, just called back. It's a phone call from Mediacom about promotional stuff. I got this last week about the UFC fights, and I would guess since St. Pierre is fighting this weekend that's what it is about!

Just called the number back. It is from mediacom "about a promotional offer you may be qualified for" but it's just a recording you can't get a real person. Why call, hangup when the phone is answered, and have a dead-end voice recording when called back?

Got a call while at work... Didnt know the number so i checked out this site...Figured since my numbers on the national do not call list my national do not call list that my own cable subscriber would have the respect enough not to call and try to sell me somthing.

This is mci or at&t calling about signing with them. They call all the time, even if you've signed up on the no call list.

QUIT CALLING ME YOU UNSCRUPULOUS CABLE BASTARDS!!!

Why do you have to rag on the cable company? I mean come on, they only increase your rates like every couple of months. Then you wait between 9 & 5 for the cable guy. I see no reason to hate us!!!

The dialers they have call multiple numbers at once, and they get forwarded to whomever picks up first. So, even if the person who actually gets to talk to the rep only picked up a split second before you did, they still get helped first and you get an empty line.

Also, the Do Not Call registry does not apply to companies or organizations that you already have a relationship with. So, if your cable company, credit card, or cell phone provider feel like soliciting you for more money, even if you're on the DNC they can call you up until you say you don't want anymore calls, and even then it might not make them stop.

I answered, "Hello".  The caller said "Hello", like they just woke up. Then they hung up.  I checked the number on line, low and behold -- here it is... hmmmmm

I got a call from this number but was at work so I didn't answer it, thinking whoever it was would leave a message but there wasn't one. I have no idea who this person is...

they called and no mes. left will not answer a number I dont know

I got a call from them and even though it was a recording and I knew it I just kept saying "thanks jim....hey thanks...geee THANKS JIM" hahaha I was bored and didnt have anything else to do. Thanks for reading this Jim!

i answered and got a recording "You've received a promotional call from Mediacom.  Sorry we've missed you..." and then I hung up.  Apparently it thought me answering was a voicemail...idiots.  

anyway, its a promo call from mediacom.  add the number to your phone book as "MEDIACOM-IGNORE" which is what i did.

Its Mediacom with a promotional offer. Most of the time its to cross sell you on setting up a phone line or internet.

I am in the 319 area code.  Got a call from this number today and they left a voicemail that said "hello --- Hello?"
