They never leave a msg. and to me that means non legitimate inquiry. If you are for real why won't you leave a msg?

They ask for someone who doesnt even live with me.  I have told them this.  I asked what it is in regards to and they say..."it is business.  She will know what it is about."  Well she doesnt and i am sick of telling them to stop calling my phone.  (I answer it since it is a (515) number and i live close to there...  i have now also added it to a blocked call list.  Hope it stops now.

They keep calling me as well.  I get it that they are trying to collect but they keep asking for someone else.  I have told them this is MY private cell... they dont stop calling!!

Many calls to my cell phone. This and another number from the same collection people.  Calls are for my 44 yr old mentally disabled sister that recently came to live with me after our mom passed away.  This is just sad.

I thought its legal to collect a bill over the phone because under the Privacy Act you cannot prove who is on the other end of the phone.

I work full time as a nurse. 12 hour shifts overnight.
This number calls me 12 times a day when I am trying to sleep.
I have no idea who it is or what they want.
They never leave a message and when I called them back,
they get really snooty. I just filed bankruptcy because of a divorce
so I currently have no debts. I just want them to stop.

I put the free call blocker ap on my cell so the phone doesn't even ring.  I owe no one- I even ran my free credit report to see.  I have no bills being mailed to me and no adverse records on my report.  Put the ap on it's great!

This number has called me several times and never leaves a message so I called it back today and someone picked up and asked if she could help me so I said I have a few misses calls from this number and she hung up so I called right back, rings once and then disconnects so I kept calling then she answered again all rude and I hung up on her, then she called me several times during the day non stop, pretty ridiculous. If this is a collection agency and I have a bill this is not the way to get me pay for it, I don't understand why they won't just talk to me and tell me what the deal is. I was a collector once and I never treated people like this, I'm not sure what they are getting out of doing all this calling and them just hanging up, I will send a cease to call letter.

I'd like to start by saying that I am completely debt free.

I was in a car accident a year and a half ago. The insurance in charge of paying the claim is IMT Insurance. After they tried multiple times to get me to settle (by law you have 2 years to settle the car accident claim) I started receiving calls from this bill collector, Hauge ASSoc. They hung up when I'd answer and sometimes they would call twice a day and during suppertime. From what I've read about them, they can't even provide legitimate information regarding your so-called debt.

When I figured out who they were, thanks to this web site, I sent a certified letter for them to stop harrassing me or my lawyer would get involved. (sent one week ago, received confirmation email today that they just signed for it today)

The day I settled with IMT Insurance, the Hauge ASSoc. stopped calling. What a coincidence as they did not receive my certified letter until today. Nice ploy of the insurance company to get you to settle when you're being 'threatened' by a bill collector. All they want is to screw you over and not pay you the settlement you deserve. Know your rights!

They call my cell and work number; nobody at the end of the line & no messages left.  As for Stephanie's comment; we did not ask for your smart a** comment just trying to get to the bottom of who is calling us leaving no information to begin any leads.  I think best next time you should keep that opinion to yourself for you have no clue on anyone's situation on here.

They are calling me at work and I don't owe anything to this company or any company for which they may be contracted.  I don't know where they got my work number but I will refuse to provide them with any additional information until they can give me more detail of why they are calling.

This number has called me so much on my landline. NOW they are calling me on my cell. I do not give my cell number out to anyone but my friends/family. I WANT THIS TO STOP!!!!!
