Got the same call. First message was a lady and she said she was calling on my two charges. Next day a call from a man stating he has my papers and is ready to serve me on my Civil Complaint but I can call to settle out of court. It's BS. We all know that you never get a call from the company who wants to sue or serve you. What I hope everyone knows is that it is illegal to say you are going to sue someone and then not due it under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It;s considered harassment. The challenge is that if we never know who this company is, we will never be able to sue them!******On a side note, I also advice anyone who is getting calls from creditors to ensure they never give out their information over the phone. A real creditor already has it. Never pay over the phone or admit you owe anything. Under the FCRA, you are entitled to request and receive  documentation on the original debt. And I mean original, not the first collection agency it was sold to, but the creditor you established the debt with and a history of what the total amount is for. Even if you get a letter, request this. Also always document your history of your calls, letter and requests. If a collector cannot give you the original debt information, by law they can not collect on a debt. What they normally do is sell this debt to another agency. Keep repeating this process. Where the notes come in handy is if these companies show up on your credit. Write the bureaus and ask to have them removed and provide your back up documentation that they never was able to prove the debt was yours. Also if, by a small chance, you ever actually do go to court. Make sure you bring your note history since your dealings with the original creditor and also check to ensure the statue of limitations is not up on that debt. If it is, they can legally try and collect on the debt but they can not sue you over it.

This is the 5th time I have recd calls from this number.  When I answer the phone, no one wants to talk with me; however, when I let the machine catch the call sometimes a message is left and sometimes not.  This particular time they were threatening.  They repeated the message two times automated giving name of person with legal proceeding about and recorded woman's voice stating if we would call this number today, the client would work with us to resolve this issue.  Then stated this is the 3rd and final call you will receive from us.  The ladies voice ended the call by saying "good luck in court"!

I called this number, gave the case # and told them the truth this person does not live here.  I know this person; however, their cell phone has been disconnected and they are no longer living in the same place they did 9 months ago.  I asked that they remove my number from their call list.  Let's see if it works.

Don't pay any attention to these people. After trying to get a hold of them over and over again I finally got a hold of a lady. She claimed her name was Suzanna Ramirez and she also gave me a 414 number just in case we were to get disconnected. She told me it was for an online loan that I took out from CashNet in 2007. I remember taking out a loan but I payed it back, so I called CashNet and they told me that it was paid in full and to not pay any attention to these people which they claim to be Goldman Associates. CashNet told me that they are scammers that is somehow getting a hold of peoples info that they put online. Be careful what you put on the internet, all they need is your ss number and everything else pops up...anywho I ended calling my cell carrier and getting both numbers blocked. hope this helped.

Have received a call from this number saying a summons has been issued for my son for fraud and call them back and they will see what they can do.  My son happens to be overseas with no way for them to connect with him so they are harrassing me.  This is the third call and it is generated out of Des Moines Iowa.  Basically, this is a scam or the summons would be come from District Court.  What a bunch of garbage coming from this number.

O.K. I went ahead and called this no back( on a prepaid cell phone) and spoke to this gentlemen ( who actually really nice) and he said that his company was just letting you what they were doing before they take you to court.  I explained to him that I worked in the legal field for 13 years and whatthey were doing was illegal.  I did finally give him my case no and he told me that I had gotten money from CashNet on the internet and now they want their money. Now this happened in 2007.  I said this whole process is wrong and that one I never took money from this Company and I never received any collection letter.  He proceeded to tell me that I should of gotten one in 2008.  Really 5 years ago.  Then he told me that I could speak to the arbirator that they have and settle this once and for all. Which I told him no.  Then he went on talking and I hung up on him.  There is something not right I am reporting this no to the Attorney Generals office because what they are doing is illegal.

My parents who live 2 hours away from me got this call.  My mom was upset and I was like WTF why are they calling my parents.  I worked in the legal field for 13 years and never heard of anyone getting a call telling you that you are going to be "served".  They usually just show up.  Not calling them back they can go to hell.

This is a complete scam.  Any agency that would be dealing with fraud against your social security number would not have an automated system call your phone number and then not have anyone available to talk to you.  As I am looking into this for someone I called the number back and this is exactly what you get "This call is recorded for security purposes please have your case number available and an associate will be with you shortly"...the phone rings for a while then another recording comes on "the person at extension number 3009 can not accept any more messages..sorry..an error has occurred.."....

If you want to report it to anyone, report it to the FBI, the Better Business Bureau is not going to do anything about this for one because its not a real business..its fraud..

First they called the house phone and then called my cell for my ex husband. I called him and have him the information and they said the same thing. He is going to call the BBB in Iowa tomorrow and see what they say. I'm almost tempted to have him call the FBI and report it.
