Caller ID.  If you don't know the number, ignore it.  SEEM SIMPLE TO ME.

I received two calls from this number so far this morning. They do not leave a message. I tried to call the number back to be removed from their list, and I received a recording that the number was no longer in service!?!
Very annoying for my cell phone to ring while I am at work for an unsolicited call. This should be illegal, especially because I am on the DO NOT CALL registry.

Call came to me. When I answered no one was there. Iowa area code??

Patriotic Veterans of America wanted me to contact my representative about HR1249 (I think).
I can't even remember whether they were for it or against it. Most of the BS they spouted was irrelevant to patents anyway.

1:00 PM Phone rang at least 8 times.  Des Moines IA on caller ID.  Don't know anyone in Des Moines!

I called the number.  It said to press 1 to be removed from their calling list.  We'll see.

Got a call from 515-724-7047 twice today 6-8-11.

It comes up with an Iowa #, but I live in Maryland. It was from the "Patriotic Veterans of America" telling me not to vote for the Democratic governor in my state....... Sorry Fake Tea-Bagger group. We have early voting here in MD, and I voted Democrats across the board.

I got this call twice in one day so far. I just don't answer my phone but I don't know how to make it stop?

I came home from work and saw they called 3 times today!  No message, and once I heard the sound of a call center, they always hung up.  I am so tired of political calls, surveys, scam artists, etc.!  I still can't understand why there isn't a phone out there that will block a number without paying a monthly fee to your phone company.  With all the technology out there, this would be a best seller!

Returned call.  Said it is a survey or political message.  Press 1 to be removed from their list.

got a call no message left.  I live in Illinois so if this is the Iowa gov.  Duh you are calling the wrong state.

it is a political call from Rep Mark Walker about Quinn and Madigan raising taxes....if you call it back it SAYS you can press 1 to be removed in 48 hours....we shall see.

Started getting calls from this number... do not pick up calls I don't know, so it goes to voice mail... they don't leave message...  on-line sources say it's a political message.

Phyllis Schafly calling to lobby against some new patent reform bill that was up for a vote in the House of Reps. Encouraged the answerer to say "no" to their Congressperson, and if so, connected them directly to a live body in that Congressman's office.

Panasonic phones with caller ID ---- menu --caller --- save --block.

I have a Panasonic phone system -- answering machine and 3 handsets.  Got it at Sam's for a reasonable price.  It blocks either 20 or 30 numbers, I forget which.  Only problem is I need one that would block at least 50!!!
