every call hangs up when answer machine picks up

keeps calling me but I don't answer: I have a landline as well caller id, so I am capable of being aware of the #, also have voicemail & whoever it is never leaves a message.

this is a spoofed number. These dirtbags can't be stopped. The FTC has received multiple complaints from me about the repeated phone calls I have received from these low lifes. Yet nothing is ever done.  We could solve the deficit if they could catch and fine these idiots

Get calls from this number-not interested in what they are trying to sell!  Want them to stop.

Received a call from this number today (June 2nd).  Have received calls in the past from the same number.  I haven't answered the number yet and there is never a message.  I get calls from all over the States and I'm in CT!  Now what I do is look up the area codes to see where they are coming from -- just out of curiosity.  

Called this number right back from a block phone and message stated u have called a verizon number that is no longer in use why a second later smh tired of whoever this is Oh I guess they all think we are dumb or cant read that if the phone rings and it says wireless caller that we are going to run to the phone and answer it not me I dont know a soul in New York

Just received a call from th today, 5/30.  They have called several times and I havent answered.  I called the number back and it says it has been changed or disconnected.

Yet another call from this number. I'm on the DO NOT CALL list.

A company is using our phone number on their caller id for there telemarketing campaign. The callers then call the caller id number , which is us. We have to explain to them we did not place the call.

Got 3 calls from this number, didn't answer. caller ID says wireless caller. Very suspicious.

Call came in from 516-220-1234.Time 2:05 PM.Day 5-27-2014 .Saying they were from Medicare.I did not believe this person was from Medicare.

Another call from this number. WHY DOESN'T DO NOT CALL LIST WORK??????? I report the numbers to DO NOT CALL and nothing happens.

I have received a call from this number and I want to know who it is.

I have been receiving calls that starts with this, "Attention Seniors.." This number is one of them. The other day was different with a caller ID " Sharon something".

Recording said "Attention Seniors, medic alert", I hung up. Only answered because whom ever had this phone number before me has debt collection agencies calling & I'm trying to get them to stop. Like that will ever happen. Yes caller ID says New York for what it's worth, I'm sure they keep spoofing their number. That's what these scammers do & VOIP.

2 calls from these Bozo's so far today.   I swear, I'm gonna start answering my phone  "thank you for calling Sears, how can I help you".  The live callers might get a little confused.!

Received call from this number today

This number has called a number of times and leaves no message. I do not answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. If they can't leave a message and I don't know them, they go on call block

I got a call around 3 ;34 may 7 2014 I checked the messages I heard a tv and she said good after noon imtrying  to reach paul which is my boyfriend she said guess who and that was it so I looked this number up 5162201234

Got a call just now; ID said "New York". No message.

Call came in from 516-220-1234.Time 12:05 PM.Day 5-6-2014 .Saying they were from Medicare.I did not believe this person was from Medicare.First Medicare do not use a cell phone.I call Medicare they did not call.The person or persons that is doing this needs to be stop. So sick of this.

Last call from these scammers was April 29 and here they are again with a different number today:  516.220.1234.  it does not matter with thieves -- and when they change their phone number every month you know they are trying to stay away from being caught.  Oh how we wish they were!  Very annoying.  At least four calls for same scam and all different phone numbers.  

what a scam this call is.  Said my Dr told them to call me.  That is a lie.
