Corporate Office in California (877) 233-3376 ..... very nice woman at corporate office for CPC (Crescent Processing Company) is removing all 3 of our office numbers that keep getting calls from the annoying telemarketers. She said if you call the 516.453.5502 it is just calling back into the dialer and that is why the recording says the mailbox is full. SO, don't waste your time calling that number, go straight to the corporate source, press "0" at the prompt selection and she will add your numbers to their database as do not call so the dialer won't even touch the numbers. Good luck.

Keeps calling our office up to 6 times per day recently and refuses to listen when I tell him to remove our number, that we are happy with the company that processes our credit cards. When you call back the number on our caller ID, it says the mailbox is full....surprise! I'll try to research a main number for the company and update this later.

Caller ID just shows "DP".
Through reporting a lot of numbers here, I saw a recommendation for the Digitone Call Blocker (I swear I'm not connected to them in any way). I got one at the house and IT WORKS! It has blocked many, many annoyance calls.
It would work at most businesses, BUT it depends on how your incoming trunk line is set up. You might have to attach the device in some closet where the lines come into the building.
But it's totally worth a try! Best 100 bucks I ever spent.

If you get a free voicemail app for your cellphones, you can put them in your address book and by clicking a box it sends their call directly to the voice mail. Mine says, "Sales person #***, ***** cannot talk to you right now, good bye". Never bothers me again. I just delete the e-mail msg that they called when I clear out my junk mail.

These people have called me every single day for the last 8 months. I am on a DO NOT CALL list, but they call anyway. (I do not answer, but am sick of having to stop to even look at caller ID.)

I just went to AT&T's site. They were the ones who sold my info to CPC, and guess what? They just happen to have a handy dandy service that you have to PAY EXTRA FOR that will block up to 12 numbers of your choice. So AT&T caused the problem and now they want to charge me extra to fix it.

How did you come out with the cease and desist order? I too have a lot of problem with CPC calls. When I asked to be taken off the list, the rep said "you can talk to my supervisor, but you won't be taken off the list." At which point I said "Is that so, my next call will be to the attorney general's office" Well, I did call the AG and found out that my state will allow home and cell phones to block caqllers but not businesses. HUH? Why not? Anyway the rep tried to get me to give her other phone numbers for the business. Like I would be dumb enough to give them those numbers. They were already abusing the one they had. I think CPC is a front for bankers who want to get people into debt who are not currently in debt. A few chargebacks and they've "got you".
Today is the first time I've answered in quite a while. As soon as I see it is them, I don't pick up. But they call at least twice per week on average, sometimes more. What a pest. And I think businesses SHOULD have the ability to block certain calls, and CPC would be at the top of my list.

Received multiple calls on a weekly basis from 516-453-5502. They ask for the owner. I constantly say they are not here. I get hung up on. I'm on the verge of calling the number back and just screaming at them in gibberish so they get a taste of their own annoying selves! Do NOT be nice to anyone that asks for the owner!

First off the lady was a jack @$$. She was selling merchant services and asked for the owner. I told her to take us off the call list. She straight up told me NO. I said excuse me. She said are you the owner Steve. I told her lady there isn't even a Steve in this company and of course she just hung up.

They have been calling in on our primary office line, for the past week. They ask if the owner is in. I told them "no". Today, I have asked them to put our number on their do no call list. I also called the number back and left a message for our number to be removed from there phone list. We'll see if they do it.

these people call at least once a week. if it's true you can get $5k every time they call, i would sure be able to use the money. does anyone know how to do this?
Carl 2011-06-06 20:50:49 Unknown
I get this CPC call with different #'s everyday Were do I get the info for complaining and get that $5000 I am getting sick of these calls, I get then early mornings and even at nite times.
moneybags 2011-06-06 20:50:49 Unknown
Yep, I tell them the $5000 thing every time they call, and I keep getting more and more money. I quit working…I just threaten them with that and they pay. It's that easy.
Seriously, I see CPC with this number and many numbers, the credit card thing. Don't answer if you see CPC with any number....they use lots of them.
Carrie 2011-06-06 20:50:49 Unknown
You are full of crap. It is not a debt collector. It's about getting companies to use their credit card service you idiot.
David 2011-06-06 20:50:49 Unknown
I remember hearing something once, where you can inform them that if they call again they will be required to pay you the sum of $5,000. I recall someone made a decent amount of money from doing that. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
I get repeated calls from these people and am sick of it. My # is on the Do Not Call registry.

The NY number has called several times now with no vmail message.

these people call me relentlessly trying to get me to use their credit card processing services. more than once they were told that i do not accept credit cards, i have no interest in their service, and to please stop calling me. call frequency has since increased. now when i answer the calls, nobody responds at all. simple harassment, i will be sending a cease and desist letter and will forward a copy of it to the fcc

Frequently get calls from "GOLD 516-453-5502". A woman with a heavy accent and with a noisy background asks if she can speak to the owner. I answer, "No", she hangs up but calls again from time to time. She's nice, but a nuisance.
