I got a call from this phone number on June 15th about a travel trip. Just got a call from a different phone number about being audited.  Sick of these phone calls!

Got a call from here, no message.

Called me just as I was going to lunch.  Did not know the area code, so I did not answer.  They did not leave a message.  If it was important, they would have left me a message. DO NOT answer a call, unless it is someone on your call list.

Same here.. I don't answer calls that I didn't save on my cell phone.

Got a call from this number. Didn't answer it.. because I didn't know who it was from.. very annoying

Telemarking. They lied how supposedly a "friend" entered my phone number at one of their vacation booths somewhere.
Of course, noone can prove that so these schlimes just use that to peddle their fraudulent scams.
Obviously, this is working them, because there are enough morons in this country to make it their worthwhile.

Yup.  This phone number just truck Canada.  Americans complain about Canadians and now it is vica versa.  Not the first time.  We can put people on the moon and send probes deep into space but we cannot block a call?  Go figure.

Called and didn't leave a message

Do Not Call is needs to slapped around a bit. This number calls and don't leave a message. Whenever  it's a number I don't recognize, I don't pick up, period!! If it's important, they'll leave a message.

Yeah, some kind of scam. Just got the call "Press 1 to claim your $2,500 Mexican Vacation prize for 4. Press 3 to decline this offer." At best it's a vacation property sale scam, at worst it's a credit card scam and they'll want your info to claim your prize.

Do Not Call service fails again. Scammers win. And always will as long as Ma Bell et al get their money. If they were the ones being scammed you can bet the scammers wouldn't be able to get a telephone number. Though they may be getting ripped off as well, I've heard that call centers get set up on references and credit then disappear before they can be billed. And of course we the honest average customer pay for that through higher subscription fees etc. There's no winning for the little guy.

I refused answering. Would counsel others to do likewise.

It's an automated message saying "..to claim your prize please press 3 now".
