Instead of this lets get together and ask for tougher laws on do not call lists. IE: We do not want to be contacted by charities. If you want to contribute and have the time and money we will chose who we do and do not give money to.
This stuff is like paying attention to children having temper tantrums it just lets them know they are being successful.
FCC is the way to go they are not limited by international waters or territories. They can and do stop it. For now lets make a call to action of our federal, state and local governments to act on our behalf. Give us the right to choose.

I got a call from Insight teleservices today. I had to call them back to find out who called. Every time they call they hang up as soon as someone answers. My phone will only block 250 numbers and I am going to run out of space trying to stop the calls from the Do-Not-Call exempt spammers.

They keep calling even though I have asked to have my number remeoved...i consider these hassment calls and want them stopped

July 2012 - this number is calling to do a phone survey for Ingham County Drain Commissioner, probably solicited by Mark Grebner. They said it was a 2-question survey. The first question was "Press 1 if you're supporting Mark Grebner, press 2 if Patrick Lindemann." I pressed 2 and they hung up on me.

Also, they called twice within an hour while I was on another call, so they don't give up if you don't answer. Answer and hang up.

They will call under different numbers representing different charities and they pocket the money. I turned them into the FBI and filed a complaint with the FTC.
They are scumbags.
Please continue to file complaints. Hopefully, someday they will be shut down.
Charities need to be added to the do not call list.

It does no good to complain, I've been reporting #'s for years to the donotcall website.  It's worthless!  I get calls all the time, I don't answer them or call them back.

i called back and left my number to be removed from their call list. Just as i hung up they called back, when i answered "hello"a male speaking american english slang with an exaggerated urban accent told me to "go f*** yoself, b***h!" then hung up before I could respond

This number calls our home phone several times a week and they hang up when we answer.  It is very annoying.

Verbally abusive. Deceptive. Said they were from breast cancer group - started yelling at me if I didn't donate, that it wasn't the "Christian American" thing to do. Terrible experience talking to them.

This number is being "Spoofed" by  Delta Outsource Group, a collection agency located in O'Fallon, MO.  They will try and gather enough information to create an account.  Many bank accounts have been drained by this establishment and many "Spoofed" phone numbers have been fraudulently used to aquire information.

donotcall.gov is no longer owened by the government.  it was sold to a private company because the fcc stated they do not have the man power and resorces to handle the amount of people that signed up.

  You should call them several times a day and keep them on the phone as long as possible. They waste your time now lets waste their time. Ask about the services they offer and just keep asking questions about services or a job.
  If they keep calling you you can always take the number they called from and this info to your local police department and make a formal harassment complaint against them. They clam to be a non-profit so they are exempt from the National Do Not Call List but harassment is harassment. If you have told them not to call you more than once that's all that's needed.
 They also use several numbers and claim to be from several organizations.

Getting calls from this # too. Called back & they just answered but said nothing.

Constantly being called by a variety of different bogus numbers claiming to be the Disabled Veterans of America or other BS charities. We're on a no call list and have repeatedly been harassed by callers claiming to be from charitable foundations. We constantly tell the caller to take us off their list. They just keep calling. I have contatced the police and am keeping notes daily. A lawyer will help.

Why am I on the Do Not Call list and still getting phone calls

I am very familiar with this company and what they do. They are located in southfield michigan on telegraph rd. They raise money for several different fake charities that were made up within the past few months. Disabled and paralyzed veterans fund, terminally ill children, breast cancer association, childrens leukemia of america foundation and a few other fake charities that sound very similar to legitimate organizations. The owners names are Paul Marinelli and Ben Scott. Their phone number is 248-552-8866. The company is simply a scam, and they do not care if you are upset. The solution is to register complaints with the Michigan Attorney General and the FTC. Here are the numbers you need to call Mich Attorney General 1-877-765-8388. FTC 1-888-382-1222

About exemption for those calling "on behalf of a charity"... this is straight from the do not call website:

Are calls from political organizations or calls soliciting for charities covered?
Political solicitations are not covered by the TSR at all, since they are not included in its definition of ?telemarketing.? Charities are not covered by the requirements of the national registry. However, if a third-party telemarketer is calling on behalf of a charity, a consumer may ask not to receive any more calls from, or on behalf of, that specific charity. If a third-party telemarketer calls again on behalf of that charity, the telemarketer may be subject to a fine of up to $16,000 .

So maybe remind them about that last sentence - see if you can get a person's name first, then make note of the date/time/name of the person you told to remove you from the list.  Then if they call again you can tell them that you'll be reporting it to the FCC.  Hope it helps!

This and another MI number (248) area code call twice a day and I am very annoyed.  I've not picked up yet, but might, with this info.

Got two calls from this number both times when I picked up I got a dial tone.

I just received a call from (517) 679-0754. The person asked if I would contribute to the Breast Cancer Association.  I said no, and started to give an explanation and to ask a question about the organization - and the telemarketer suddenly hung up.  I thought that odd for a national non-profit.  I called back and the line was busy.  I called again and received a automatic message saying the number belongs to "Insight Teleservices," which provides telemarketing services for non-profits.  And the message informed me that according to federal law charitable and political calls are exempt from the do-not-call list.

I figure I will send a message to the Breast Cancer Association that Insight Teleservices is a crappy contractor.

The caller is INSIGHT TELEMARKETERS.  They solicit for high end charities and keep a chunk of the money. They are not covered by the No Call List.

This "Spoofed" number, fake name and many other numbers are being used by "Debt Collectors." Prime examples are: CRSI out of California, Complete Credit Solutions out of Texas and Progressive Financial Services out of Tennessee.  They are attempting to gather information to create an account with someone by getting a credit card number or account number.  These particular places have already drained many peoples bank accounts.

How about a harassment law suit? ( I apologize if this has been mentioned before, I have not read all the posts entirely.)
