These calls are scams, maybe some did default on a payday loan but this type of default is civil.  I work in law enforcement and this company is a bill collector.  A bill collector can no threaten to have you arrested nor pretend to be an officer this is illegal.  I tried to file a complaint with the better business bureau but my complaint was closed stating this company they are claiming to be is no longer in business.  I would suggest every one to file a complaint with the Attorney Generals office.

I just had a call from this Nick Thomas from Bureau of CRAP basically and when I busted him he then pursues forward and starts asking me to sleep with him and various things. Said he would give me $2000 to have sex with him. These people need serious help!

the guy that just called me said his name was john smith and the police will be at my home at 6p.m to arrest me then he said 6:30. Then he asked me how much money WTF!!!!! REALLY who asks them kinds of questions? Answer: SCAM ARTIST. I'm going to call him back and tell him I will wire it western union and see what he says

Ive  been getting the same calls for like three weeks today he told me the police will be here to arrest me at 6 then he said 6:30. First of all I'm not threatened by the police and second if the cops are going to come busting in your home to arrest you they aren't going to give a specific time. These people need to leave me alone because I'm really getting irritated.

These scams are a result of applying for a loan online offering legitimate companies, Capital One, was how I got slammed. I was approved and received my card, but filling out the application, no joke another 80 new windows flashed up with the same information already filled in! Never ever do anything unless verified by calling the for their website and get a key stroke encryption program CNET has one for free its worth it.

Mine has something to do with Cash Advance USA? The fact is I have not received any payday loan what so ever. I had a similar call from Los Angeles Area California. More Middle Eastern accent demanding I pay the money I owe from a wire transfer to my Bank account. I ask when this transfer was made. His date of transfer was imposable, the account was not even open at that time, the new account was opened much later and I told him to F off. They tried again and I recognized the accent immediately, stating an officer is coming to my home and take me to a court hearing? WTF? That would be nice, but as we all know they take you to jail first, not to a court hearing, but a good idea, beats jail. All fraudulent activity and maybe 1 of every 75 people contacted a foolish enough from fear alone to comply, try this? The next time tell them you will send it by Western Union and if he agrees, contact Western Union Fraud Dept. Explaining the criminals want to use their services to defraud you of your hard earned money. Watch what happens next, also probably the last you?ll ever hear from these types again.


Also if anyone wants to do a class action state so, I like to give it to them with it legally

I called the number back and asked to speak to the same guy.This was after multiple calls and another voicemail from an indian woman. He came on the phone telling me I did not fax the information i was supposed to and owe my first payment of $740 friday from a $1485 total.  I TOLD THEM I WASNT PAYING ANYTHING. TO STOP CALLING MY PHONE. I KNEW IT WAS A SCAM AND I CALLED THE POLICE. His response was "ok no more calls" and hung up!!!

they are indian people trying to scam you into paying them money saying that they are officers of federal crime investigations and say that they are police and some one has pressed charges on me and i will get arrested if i dont pay. it is a VERY BIG SCAM DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR TRAP!!! I received a call from this number. The person i spoke with saidhis name was officer reed. He said i owe $300 for cash advance usa. He also threatened with the police and all the things you other people are saying. I doesn't make since at all.

Receieved the same call today from office john smith of bci. indian accent. said i owed 1450 for a payday loan and had to pay today or they would send the police for the lawsuit they have against me.  he had my information and the last of my four digit social. so i figured it was real. when i told him how much i could pay, he said i must be joking. and asking if i thought it was a joke. Then i thought, i've never received anything in the mail regarding this.  he gave me a payment plan to pay every week  for 3 weeks. he asked for my card info for security purposes. when i questioned y he needed  my card info if i was going to make a payment later, he said to just fax my info by 5 oclock. it seemed way too suspicious. because why r the only 2 options, which r over the phone, to pay or have police sent to my home???? WHOEVER THESE PEOPLE ARE, THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED AND PUNISHED!!!

Oh and btw, he said a colleague named James Brown would be contacting me also regarding this. Thats when i askd if he was joking.

I have an officer John Gates calling and calling my phone every 20 minutes asking for money. You can barely understand his voice i believe he is not even in the USA. Threatning me that the police is coming to get me from my home. Im getting real tired of these calls and i want to find out who these people really are!!!

I just spoke to "Officer Gary Cooper" of the BCI- Bureau of Crime Investigation in NY... SAME NUMBER!!! I also spoke to "Nick Thomas"- Badge#189 all regarding a case of fraud they say they have against me on behalf of Cash Advance USA. They wanted me to wire $500 TODAY or my local police will be at my home address, which they did have, TONIGHT to arrest me! I hope the police arrive so I can finally end this! I don't know whether to be happy or sad that we are not alone.

Caller with Indian accent states he is from the New York Police Department and it is very important that I call. Then they call me at work and he can't even pronounce half the lies he is spewing. I am so sick of these thieves getting my number and trying to pull a scam!
