This no. came up on my iphone. I did not answer it, but googled the no, which brought me here. Thanks to all for the posting, I'm glad I didnt answer the call.

Called me to say that my Microsoft computer had problems with Internet Protocol and that he needed me to go onto my computer and fix the hardware.  I asked him which protocol and then told him I had no Internet.  This threw him for a loop.  Next time I will ask this guy with an India region accent how he came to call me.  I have worked on computers for 30+ years and could tell he lacked experience with computers and Internet.  He is obviously fishing.  I am retired and could use some more entertainment.

This number called me about my windows computer.  I use a MAC.
No argument, just hung up.

I got a call last night from an Indian woman claiming to be a windows technician who told me my computer had bad viruse and then connected me with another "expert" technician who said I needed to buy software for a few hundred dollars to keep my computer running or else I wouldn't be able to use it for "the rest of my life." They kept insisting that I needed it and they were there to help me. I just said "don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining," and hung up.

Got a call on my mobile from this number 2day asking for my partner was an Indian woman claiming to b form Amazon Audiobook when I told her it was my number not my partners she said cld she speak to him anyway & when I said no she then tried to get me to give her his mobile number which I also refused to do. My partner told me she had called my number earlier as well & he had answered & again she had asked for him by name claiming she cld offer him a new mobile phone with no upfront charges & all she needed was our credit card details she also told him they already had some details but the date of birth she claimed to have for him was completely wrong definitely a SCAM sin e when do Amazon Audiobook offer mobile phones as soon as I started questioning her she hung up DO NOT ANSWER or give any information

Received a call from an Indian sounding guy, told me I had a problem with my windows computer, he told me to go to my computer and do as he said, I told him he was crazy and I hung up on him.

A guy with an Indian accent called and said they're from Pet Rescue.  I just hung up and never talked to them.  This is not the first time they called either.  Sometimes, I pretended to have a bad cell reception.  I just kept saying, 'hello? hello?' to them and hung up. And, they would call back from a different number from a different city!

Clearly a wanna be spammer...

Friday, March 15. I was out between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. I saw their telephone number on my answering machine.  I don't bother to call these numbers back, but I am reporting them.

These jerks have been calling me for at least a couple of years. They have used one other number that turned out to be an icecream shop..I'm not kidding they have called so often I can recognoze thier voices even though the names change daily.  It is usually about my microsoft problem!!!!! I have cursed at them, yelled at them, and insulted them but they still love me. I know many other people who are recieving the same ones, while at my sisters house I answered the phone and it was my old pal, Alex Smith. Is it just me or is this getting out of hand? I swear from this point on I will report every one of these calls until something is done.

Had a call from an Asian lady saying I had a problem with windows on my PC, when I told her she was just a scammer she told me to shut my mouth, then she hung up!. LOL

If eveybody would e-mail / report / phone numerous times the Municipality of  Schenectady, maybe they would chase them telemarketers out?....

I just had a foreign guy call me from this number and told me that there is a legal matter against me and when I called back it tells me the number is not in service.

Got a missed call from this number while at work.  Called back, out of service.  I call everyone back as I a corporate sales trainer and never know if a client handed off my info.  Then I Googled this number which brought me here.  Will be putting this in my Blocked call area on cell phone.

Got seven calls today from this number and 6 others all saying I had window problems. A word of advise.....Try to keep no important info on your computer like Bank info, SS numbers, tax forms, ect, ect. If you do need to keep info on the computer I would suggest using Cypherix LE and store the info in that, its free and does offer some protection, I also use SD memory cards for my important storage of tax forms and important papers, it can be unpluged from the computer and stored in a safe place. Most poeple know this but a couple here seems to have had a close call, its almost at a point you can't trust your friends leave alone your enemies. Be very careful what you download, you may get more software than you expect and not know it till it is to late. Just trying to help and warn people, a computer can be an open book online.

These people keep calling me...  They say they have a grant for me...  I never applied for it....  I have reported them ( Indian people too)  to my phone company and next step is to the FTC and The Do Not Call List..  The number is coming from out of NY...

I just had that same woman call up. I told her I was a computer technician and there was nothing wrong with my computer. She said, "You're a computer technician?" "Yes." "Then f*** off." And she hung up. Colour me amused.

The guy that called from this number told me he was from the National Bureau of Cyber Crime and had an arrest warrant for me. Also said practically in Hindi that his name was Mark Anderson. The same guy told me he was a sheriff last week.
