I have been called repeatedly.  I have pressed 9 repeatedly to stop calls, as the recorded message says.  And am already signed up on the do not call list.  I signed up at least 6 mos. ago and have an unlisted number

What's really amazing to me is our government will spy on our phone calls and email messages in case we are doing something wrong and let these miserable b*****ds get away with harassing innocent citizens with annoying telemarketing calls. WTF is wrong with this country!

unfortunately, somebody somewhere must be falling for this kind of stuff, or they would stop doing it. Or not. Pains in the you-know-what.

Calls are annoying as when answered there is no one there.  I work from home and they are calling my work line so this is very inconvenient.  I am on the do not call list so this should not be happening.

We got a call from them earlier. Since they violate the Do Not Call registry, report them to your STATE'S ATTORNEY GENERAL'S office (easy to do on their website). I think the fine is something like $5,000 per violation. Just from reading here, sounds like they have racked up many $$$ in violations.

Icalled back this phone# and I got call rejected.

They called right before 10 PM...many people are asleep at this time.  I wish they would stop calling...I hate to get all these types of calls...I hung up before they could say anything.

I received a recorded message, let the answering machine pick up and listened to the spiel for a medical life alert. Tried to press 9 to be removed but nothing happened. Called it back and reached some sort of voice mail so I told them they were in violation of do not call laws and told them to remove my number and they will be reported.  

I agree, people keep filing complaints, yet calls continue and often with fraudulent numbers that cannot be called back.

I just received a part of a message for senoirs (I am 56,my husband is 65, but a totally different phone number.) If I wanted a Medical Alert, I would not buy it from a telemarketer. I would research it and call my self. THESE PEOPLE NEED REAL JOBS !!!

This number calls about 2-3 times/month always leaving the same recording about how I was referred by a friend or family member for a medical alert system.  I reported them in the past to the FCC.  Hope they do something about them soon.  Telemarketers all seem to ignore the Do Not Call List these days.

Reported caller 518-417-1294 located in New York to DONOTCALL.GOV & recording left a voicemail about "Personal Medical Alert Device" on my unlisted phone number. I have received 26 similar unwanted harassing phone calls since April 1, 2014 & called my telephone provider to find out there is a free phone block to stop the unwanted calls & also "omit listing" of my unlisted phone number. This should have already been on my unlisted phone number & these unwanted solicitors must be stopped.

Good luck and I would do the same if I were compuet smart.

I am sick of these calls and so are my friends.

I only answer the phone when I recognize the caller id or the persons voice.
Many of my friends have the same issue!

GOT CALLED TODAY,A RECORDING SAYING I WAS RECOMENDED BY A RELITIVE FOR A FREE MEDICAL ALERT DEVICE.ALSO A THOUSAND DOLLAR WORTH OF FREE FOOD AND A PRESCRIPTION DISCOUNT CARD.THIS SCAM IS STARTING ALL OVER AGAIN. THE FTC JUST BUSTED A GROUP OF CROOKS DOING THE SAME THING.I'WILL BE REPORTING THEM.

Medical Alert.  According to callerId they call several times per day, only leaving a message once in a while.  My voice-mail captured part of the message - apparently the telemarketer just starts spewing during the "hi - we're not home" part.  Here's the text from my voice-mail email...

"[...]Or family member. We have a system waiting to be shipped out to you. Press one now to receive your personal medical alert system and my taking advantage today. You'll also receive one thousand dollars in grocery savings coupons plus seventy five percent prescription discount card. Again press one now to receive your personal medical alert system. Press nine to opt out"

Switch you phone to the Ooma VOIP service and add their number to Ooma's black list.  There calls will be blocked on the first ring

Calling daily. Annoying recorded message for medical alert system.

Another call but a different recorded voice today. An older sounding man said, "hello seniors!"  Then he said a friend or family member had paid for my medical alert system and they just needed to set up a delivery time.  Also, I was going to get $1,000 worth of free grocery coupons. At the end he said to press 9 to not be called agin, so I pressed 9.  I had also turned on my digital voice recorder and played it for the FTC when I filed my complaint with the do not call hotline at 1-800-382-1222.

Got a call from this # at 9:08pm. Thought it was illegal to for marketers to call after 9pm-like they care about the law anyway? "Message" was just a screeching noise.

When are people going to stand together & say enough is enough?? I reported this # over 3 times to my State & GOV. agency's after daily multiple phone calls from them. In our phone bill,there's a tax,every month that runs & pay's FCC departments to monitor & enforce programs like the DO NOT CALL LIST !! What the hell do they do? NOTHING!! I'm sick of it & it's time to do something about it.  They are paid by us to enforce the law,since they won't bother to do anything, I'm setting up a program that will e-mail a complaint form to the  FCC. every 1/2hr.,every day of the week, 24/7  til they do there job &  stop this Co. from breaking the law.  I'm done taken time to fill out a complaint,sending it & nothing's done.  When they start getting 48 e-mail's a day from me,maybe they will do there job. I will not stop sending them til they stop this Co. from calling me 3-4 times a day. It's not illegal for me to do this & the FCC can't stop me from doing it. STOP THE CO. CALLING ME & I'LL STOP THE E-MAILS!!!!!

medical alert telemarketing call

We have had numerous calls from this number.  The "unknown" calls are an invasion of our privacy and there must something do to stop the calls.

I have received two phone calls, both 12pm and 1am, within the past two days which obviously woke us up.  I want them to stop calling us!

Got a call from this number today.  I didn't answer but they did leave a message on the machine because the robccall didn't recognize that my machine had answered. A recorded male voice said that a friend or family member had bought me a medical alert system and I was also going to get $1,000 worth of free grocery coupons!  I called the FTC do not call hotline and filed a complaint. At the end, when it asked for any further info, I played the recorded message for them. Hope they stop these phone scammers!

I continually get phone calls from the above number and I'm trying to figure out HOW to get off their call list. Can you please advise?

Call at 1225 pm PDT.  Obviously the medical alert crooks got another number to use on unsuspecting people.  Sure wish people would stop ranting about I am on do not call list -- hello, what crook cares if you are on the do not call list?  They just want to steal from you.  Please warn elderly or impaired not to fall for these obnoxious pieces of garbage.  

517-417-1294 left a "message." It last about 3 seconds, was nothing but static, but at the end, there were two very audible gunshots.
