These guys calls every other day sayin he officer kevin cooper.saying i have bills that are due and will file a criminal suit against.My brother in law call me today said that he call him.Now how he get his personal cell phone i dont know.

Received a call from 410-849-9356 stating they were from Bureau of Criminal Investigations from Maryland.  Stated I received a payday loan between the months of March 2011 and July 2011 from Cash Advance USA for 300.00, and that their was a legal case filed against my ssn for internet fraud, electronic bank fraud, and three other criminal charges.  I told them I never received a payday loan from a place like that.  The one guy who called me was Brian Solace who explained to me they would file court papers the next morning and that my county sherriff office would arrive to arrest me because I have not paid the money back.  They claim to get information from the National Checking Database, and once I kept questioning this issue they seem to over talk you and tell you they are trying to be helpful and not ruin your life by having you go to jail.  They had all my information including the last four of ssn.  After one officer talks to you the Head Sr.Officer known as Frank Harris gets on the phone and goes over what the first one said to you and continue to scare the heck out of you with these threats and alligations.  They wanted me to pay with my debit card, and said some certificate they give would raise your score by 85 pts along with putting 2000.00 in your checking acct.  They give you a deadline of when to pay the money which was 15 hours so they will not  file court charges, and if you say you do not have the money they suggest you borrow from family or friends.  I tried calling the number back and it said person you are trying to reach is unavailable, now I assume if it was from BCI their answering machine would have their name and voicemail attached.  They spoke with heavy accents and I could hardly understand them.  I am praying this is a scam and these people get caught, needless to say the phone call came around 6:50 in the evening.  Has anyone else had this problem

I HAVE HAD SEVERAL CALLS FROM A GUY NAME SEAN BLACK FROM BEARU CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS! 516 882 2664.  CLAIMING THEY HAVE INFORMATION ON ME REGARDING CRIMINAL ACTIVITY WITH MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. I STARTED ASKING QUESTIONS AND HE WOULDN'T ASNWER ANY OF THEM. THEM HE LEFT ME SEVERAL VOICE MAILS SAYING THAT I NEEDED TO GIVE HIM THE INFORMATION OF MY ATTORNEY'S TO HIM. COMPLETE SCAM. DON'T BE AFRAID OF THESE CALLS ITS BOGUS.

HE HAD AN INDIAN OR ARABIC ACCENT AND WAS EXTREMELY RUDE!!

I have had the VERY same thing happen to me. First they called me from California, then Texas and now New York! They told me that I took out a pay day loan (which I never have) and that I was supposed to pay it back or I would be arrested. They also asked me to fax my drivers licesnse and some letter with my bank account info on it. This is such a scam. They even called my workplace and left a threatening voicemail. How is this legal???

Same problems!! First it was from CA and now the person wouldnt tell me where he was from except from Bureau of Investigations.. I kept asking him questions because since the first time they called like 2 weeks ago I started researching because something just didn't seem right..and of course I started finding things about it being a scam.. but when I was asking questions he got all ill and said if you would shut up you would hear what it is and I got frankly said you shut up you called me I will interupt if I want now who are you and where are you out of I have done reported you to the police once and will do it again.. so he gets all smart starts mumoring something then hangs up on....FAKE!! This number this time was 8043169769..They even gave me some bogus case number and badge number to look up. 2060bm is the case numnber officer john michael was the first person on the phone frank ellis with bureau criminal investigations was the 2nd claiming to have the badge number 8448. Both claiming to have all my information, Arabic accents, and rude.

I also received these phone calls today. One Officer Jackson from New York and another Officer from California. The officer from California had a higher amount saying I owed on loans. He had all of my information. I do not need these people knowing my information. If they call my job I will be pissed. I wonder how they got my information. I am really pissed off. I dont know what I should do about my social. They know my social security information.

OH MY GOD! The same thing happened to me only they continue to call me now and leave vulger messages on my voicemail.  They have called me more than 100 time a day.  They have also stated they were going to arrest me, rape me, burn my house down!  These people are such idiots!  The names i have are:  Richard Johnson, Bran Solace, James Brown and a whole slew of others...they are repeatedly calling as i type.....losers....

i am also getting calls from these ididots.. it is very scary though that they do have my information. I have filed a repot with local and external authorities. They are now using the phone number 646 465 7676 and the name they told me was KEVIN COOPER.. i really do hope for everyone's sake they catch them and fast!! i dont want my information out there!! /:

these people are now using a different phone # 360-812-2232  I have called both the local &  Federal authorities regarding these people & they do absolutely nothing What the hell is law enforcement being paid for if they will not arrest people trying to impersonate them  IF the scammers are stupid enough to l;eave a call back # block that #  bout all ya can do till  the cops decide to set down their doughnuts & do the job they are paid to do

Bells-  When they said they had your social security number did they actually have it? did they read it off to you, because the same thing happened to me and they actually DID have my SS# and my home address and my work phone #.. I dont know how they got all of this but its really scaring me!

HE ALSO NEEDED MY ACCOUNT NUMBER AND A LETTER FAX TO 206-350-7260  WITH MY PICTURE ID. THE BOTH GUYS HAVE ARABIC ACCENTS. THESE PEOPLE TOLD MY I COMMITED A CRIME AND THEY ARE TRYING TO HELP ME NOT TO GO TO PRISON.

I got a call(s) from them saying that they are needing info about some bogus lawsuit being filed against me. When they wouldnt give me anymore info I became irritated and when I became irritated that began calling me all kinds of names, and telling me they were going to come rape and kill me.
Everyone was laughing in the background and then they began calling me from numbers that were recognizable to me that I had listed privately in my application to a payday company many moons ago (I can only assume) I called the number back and asked where they were located....they replied "new york", and when I asked them what kind of business that conduct, she simplied replied "scammers" just like that "scammers". What is the world coming to. A police report has been filed, and its being followed up with the FBI. I hope they do something

Just got a call from Officer Kevin Cooper, theses people r such scam artists and they continue to harass me at my job. Who can I get in touch with to have them stop with these calls???? The police just tell you to hang up but getting 6 to 8 calls a day while at work is very frustrating. He doesn't know who I owe or how much but he wants me to pay!!!

i just recieved a call from John Gates. he said he was the senior officer and if i did not pay him the money i would be arrested. this is such a scam. he could not tell me any info on what the case was about except i owed Cash Advance USA money for a loan i did in 2009. i never did a loan in 2009. i gave his info to my lawyer and he is going to the authorities.

Called my home phone and work number, saying he was "Office Kevin Cooper", and someone was going to file a claim against my socila security number. Whatever. Don't fall for it!

Got a call from this number on my cell phone and then got one on my home phone but the caller ID was a local number. Same guy telling me he was Officer John Brock and he was with the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation. He had a very heavy east Indian accent. Such bunk!

He stated that his name was Officer Edward Jackson and that I need to contact him as soon as possible regarding a case that was turned over to him. But at the end of the message he stated to please return his call and again his name is Officer John Black.  So what is your name, buddy!

The name I got was officer Sean Conner and that I have to give him my lawyer information so he could send paperwork over about my case. I don't understand how they got my information, but I won't pay them.

Finally something is going to happen, i don't want to know how many ppl may have paid them. They should be charged for more then just impersonating a Fed., they might have scamed ppl out of money. It is sad that police just told ppl to hang up the phone and didn't do nothing. VERY SAD!!!!!!!!!

These people called me at my place of employment stating that they were from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations! They all had very Indian accents and very American names such as James Brown and John Brock. Unfortunately for them, I actually work for the Federal Government and we are now forwarding their info up the chain to press charges for impersonating a Fed. My boss called them back and they couldnt answer any questions to confirm who they are.
