If you give them any reason to believe they will get money out of you they will continue to call you. I figured this out was a scam pretty quick and if you let them know that you know it is a scam and use some harsh words they will leave you alone. Last call i got from them was the same guy would called me months ago, all i needed to was say "shut the F up and hang up the F'in phone now" he replied "you f'er, you f'er" and hasnt called back!

I too have received these calls and now they are somehow coming up as 911 emergency call on my cell phone.  So, of course I picked it up.  It's totally freaking me out.  Any suggestions you may have on what I should do, then I would appreciate them.

I recieved a call from this 518 number today. The guy said that I owed money and I asked the name of the company and he could not tell me. I said why didn't receive anything in the mail and he said I did. I said, I don't owe anybody and he said, you do. We went on and on and he said that I would be going to hell and jail and I said that he could kiss my grits. I then looked online and found the telephone number to the Albany New York Sheriffs Department and informed them of what happened. The lady said that the number they left was not a sheriff's department number. I later called the 518 number back and a female answered the phone. I said, if this is the sheriff's department can I  sign a warrant on someone, she just paused and said, um um, hold on. I said what's your address, why she gave me an apartment number?

scam n fraud calling me several times . asking for money and harnessing me at my work. god save me from this.PAYDAY LOAN companies are becoming a harassment rather than helping us in our needs. please take some steps else we will complain about the pay day company.

I got the same type of call as everyone else.  but the person is using the prank dial app to have a different number show up when he calls.  The persons name was John Smith. Really? JOHN SMITH! Come on how non original is that.  But same song different person. Also there is an email address of john.smith@usacops.com.  And also there is a fax number of 206-338-3009.  I also looked that site up and it is a place to learn to become a security guard.  The jerk also wanted me to send him a copy of my Drivers License by way of fax.  He then started calling from my old work number then the Sheriffs department.  I called the Sheriffs department and reported his butt.

I keep getting calls from people saying they have a suit and complaint against me and me or my attorney needs to call them back.  I did just that only got a voicemail which I yelled at them.  The message I got was from some indian dude says his name is Officer Ron Marcus (yeah right) and he gave me the city and state I live in including the last four digits of my social.  Really pisses me off.  How the hell are these people getting this info?  Anyways, I don't know what the first number is but this number is 512-501-4533.

You need to file a report with the FBI, as well as the Attorney General for your state.  Allthough they are a scam, they WILL call your job.  We had to call the Police Department who came and talked to the caller because they flooded our multi line phone system with calls one after another with all kinds of different numbers on caller ID.  They then proceeded to say extremely vulgar things to everyone that answered the phone, including the police officer.  They eventually stopped calling when everyone told them they would not be allowed to talk to me no matter how many times they called.

Just received a call from this number stating that they were the dept of law and justice and I owed money and had to give it to them or within 45 mins I would be arrested.

I really think when someone leaves the same word for word voicemail,twice..sounds rather fishy. So I am here,reading all the same things from other people! I NEVER put my S.S.# on anything! I don't have a Pay-Day loan,and if I want/need money..I will work for it.

i got a call from this number saying i owned money.  he said his name todd obrian he said i had 1hour to get him the money or i was going to jail.

I have been getting calls on and off for a year now. Now its officer Mark Williams telling me they are going to come to my work in 45 min once again. They have told me that for awhile and the cops never show up. They also said they were taking me to court the next day which was a Saturday in New York. I laughed and said go ahead I won't make it cuz its saturday and it would take me about 5 hrs by plane to get there. They do have my full social security number which upset me.I have turned them in so I am getting help. I still hate when my phone rings. I just let it go to voice mail now.

They will also call so it will ring on your phone as 911.  Really confusing since that is an emergency number.  I just put the numbers they call from on my auto reject list.

I received a call from 518-649-8082 said his name was officer Mark Williams and said i owe them 300 dollar and if i didn't pay him now i would be arrested in the next 30 minutes  so when i asked questions about this loan and information he started yelling and hanging up i called him back and him hung up so i called the police department in Albany New York and question them and he told me its was probably a scam and they didn,t have an officer by that name so i called him back and asked for his badge number and he would give it to me so i know it should be something that we the people should be able to do .

These people called my cell phone and they have called my job. When I returned the call he started threatening me telling me that I had taken out a loan from "cash advance" and he was going to issue a warrant for my arrest (which he didnt). He says his name is Detective David Jones lol the funny thing is that its a white persons name but he has an Indian accent. He is a fraud DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.

I just received 7 phone calls from this guy in the last 20 minutes on my office phone. I finally spoke to the guy and let him do his speal. He said his name was David Jones with the Bureau of Criminal Investigations. Weird considering he had a really thick Indian accent. He claimed that I owed money to Cash Advance USA and what did I want to do about it. I had to keep myself from laughing. I told him I did not take a cash advance. He then rattle off my social security number, but not the whole number, andasked me if that was my social. I told him no. He then rattled of my email address and asked me if that was my email address. I again told him no. Surprisingly he then told me ok since that was not my social he woul block my social from the list and hung up on me. He hasnt called back.

THEY SAID I TOOK OUT A LOAN IN SEPTEMBER OF 2010 AND MY BANK IS REGIONS. I LAUGHED BECAUSE 1, I JUST STARTED REGIONS, AND HAD MY ACCOUNT FOR ONLY 2 MONTHS NOW, AND PLUS I DIDNT EVEN HAD AN ACCOUNT IN 2010 AT ALL. HOW DO WE GET THESE FOLKS FROM CALLING. This person or persons have been calling me for several days looking for my daughter.He has a thick foreign accent but uses an american name.When I refused to give him my daughters phone number as well as her work number he cussed me out then threatened to have us both arrested within thirty minutes.He really got mad when I told him he was a scam artist and he was'nt getting anything from me.I told him to go ahead and have me locked up as I was calling my local law enforcement to report him.none the less there is nothing they can do.watch out for this number.518-649-8082.it's from Albany,N.Y.

this guy also goes by the name Jacob Matthews calling from the same number.He is the same exact person that has been calling me for three days looking for my daughter.He threatened me because I cussed him out and told him he was a scammer.He told me my daughter and I would be arrested within thirty minutes.I've called everyone I can think of and am told there is nothing they can do.All I get told is to ignore the calls or block them.Why should we have to be inconvienced when there is something that can be done to arrest these people.I like the air horn deal.I never thought about that.The number that he is calling from is from Albany,N.Y.

I have been getting calls from this number at work, the number was not familiar so i did not call them back but today, it was too much that i decided to call back and i was told his name is Jacob Matthews and i owe them $1300.00 that if i do not pay them within 30 minutes they will issue a subpoena and put me in jail for many years. I told him that I don't owe them any money and if I really do, then send me all the documents and I will go over it to verify if i owe them and he said no and he said his boss will not work with me. So, i told him that i will get my own lawyer and we will go to court, he got so mad and his voice suddenly changed to a very sarcastic tone.

He threatened me that he will call my boss and tell them that i am a fraud, etc. and he said he will make my life a living hell. I was really shocked to how could these kind of people be here on earth.

i looked up the number online and when i saw all these comments, i am not surprised because i read about this thing happenning i think months ago.

I thought it was against the law to impersonate an officer when your not an officer
