I replied to his call with the words "have you accepted Jesus as the sole savior of mankind?". They NEVER called again.  Works well with all telemarketers and scams.

i got a call from this number only for 5 secs...no body spoke...i googled n came across this page...

I have received a total of 3 calls this morning from this east Indian jerk.  Telling me to enter www.teamviewer.com to download or all the data on my computer will be lost.  Not going to happen. I am in Toronto Canada.

People!!! This is tied to a virus on the computer. Somehow they are tied and able to get your number. There are certain programs that run and fire back to the hackers with your info and phone number.. They call you and if you pick up they confirm that it's you. Sometimes they even have your name already. By you calling them or picking up the call they confirm your number exists, hence there is no need for them to talk to you. But some will. Just playing games.
If you get a call from a number that you do not recognize, DO NOT PICK IT UP..... I know for some people it's almost impossible because you want to talk to someone LOL but if it's for you and important they will leave a message.. Think about it.. of the people who call you, the numbers that show up you recognize.. all these crazy a** weird area codes and numbers that don't show up are a dead give away. AND WHATEVER YOU DO, please do not be dumb enough to EVER enter your number on a do not call list.. that is a total trap.. I can't even believe people still do that... Another way people get harassed by calls is by using Craigslist.. Don't ever submit your resume with personal information to anyone from that site.. Almost 99% of all ad's are fake. They got you right there.. Also, keep in mind that these numbers that show up are probably not real or are run thru a relay and or are recycled phone numbers that only last for a day or two and keep changing... Please STOP PICKING UP THE PHONE IF NO NUMBER COMES UP OR YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE IT... That's the whole thing right there. Confirming it's a working number... Let's get smart America These scammers are only out to get Names, addresses and working email's and phone numbers so they can steal our identities....

Person with Indian Accent- calls multiple times -within seconds of each call- saying my computer is hacked- he says he will continue to call each and everyday until I listen to him.

Got the same phone number thank god i didn't answer since i didn't know anyone with this area code i live in Montréal Québec Canada

I get these calls and I tell them my computer runs a Linux system and I disabled the windows operating system... stumps them everytime

got a call from this phone number, caller ID said new York, I told him not to call this number again. I could tell by the background noise, the call was coming from overseas. He told me please don't hang up, there is something wrong with your computer. I hung up anyways! He tried calling back, but I ignored the phone call.

Received call fr  this  # male with foreign  accent ,said he was from  MICROSOFT  and something about my computer  and internet //// I hung up ...

Just got a call from and East Indian woman saying asking if I had a computer, then tell me that it was downloading dangerous files. She said she was from some inaudible security group and when I told her I didn't have that security on my computer she said it was disabled because of the dangerous files. I hung up.

Just got a call from this number-- did not answer.  Returned call, "this number is disconnected".

They call always here. It is a scam. I fell for it several yrs ago. Lost about $1000.00. He called today I told him I trashed my computers. He then says I had money in my account. Call block does not block them. I found that the company is in India they use a USA company to get a USA number. If they call please hang up. I checked into it got the young mens name and facebook accounts. It is bad

The person on the phone told me that he was from microsoft and that he had seen someone trying to attack my IP address. I asked the guy how he was able to monitor my computer, he told me through the modem and with that answer I hanged up. My phone company should be the one to fix that problem not microsoft. Also, he had a strong accent.

This guy just called me 3 times. I told him not to call my number again the first time. The 3rd time he asked me the size of my boobs! Jerk!

I'm in the UK and just got a call from this number but as I have my work landline calls transferred to my mobile right now I'm not entirely sure if they're actually calling my mobile or if it's the work landline.

someone called me saying he keeps receiving lots of errors from my windows computer and i know its not true ...he soundes from india and very low voice

My 83 year old mother received this call while I was visiting.  She had the good sense to pass the phone to me, and the scuzzbucket on the other end called me by my father's name.  I played along.  He had me type in a URL, which I pretended to do -- my parents' computer isn't connected to the internet -- then I gasped and told him I was seeing a huge bloodshot eye staring out at me:  I then screamed and hung up.

So I enjoyed that, but I'm angry at the thought that these reptiles occasionally encounter an elderly person, or someone low functioning, who gives them a credit card number or cedes control of their computer.  I do urge anyone who visits this site to warn others of the scam.  And if you have the wit and the time to play along and entertain yourself while wasting their time, good for you.

From Ontario Just had guy called John call again Said he was from Microsoft and there was a problom with my comp Funny had my computer guy sitting in front of computer doing service on it when he called. John just got very angry with me And told me I have no right to let him touch It was a microsoft issue He said he would call me back when computer guy left  Waiting for John to call me back. What a jerk

Got a call from this number as the name and the number are the same. Instead of the caller's name, my call display shows the number. Then, I knew that this was fake as I received a similar call just last week.

I received the same phone call two times in the evening (February, 15 / 2012)  They are realy targetting outside the USA.  I'm in Montreal, Quebec.

No one on the phone...just dead air space.  I called the number back and got a fake message saying the number was no longer in service....bloody scam artists!

These morons are now targetting numbers outside the US. Got this on my SG registered number today. A young lady was on the other side, and since i kept quiet on the phone, kept on wondering aloud "How come no one is replying huh? huh?"

Hahaha... when will these idiots ever learn?

No one ever left an identification, personnal name or institution.
