Called me in the middle of night, WARNS ABOUT CREDIT CARD FINAL NOTICE and more crap like that. Can our Government make some rules just to STOP any such Telemarketing calls TOTALLY!!
DND= DO NOT CALL LIST actually help these buggers by giving your number. Try adding your number to DO NOT CALL directory and see how many more SPAM calls all of a sudden you will get. Dinner time sleeping time and anytime these SPAMMERS have NO RESPECT for your privacy at all. More you STOP them MORE they LOVE to CALL ..

Credit scam? Offer to cancel from list if press 2; done this before but still call from Ontario. I am on Cdn no call list and 519 is an Ontario area.

They called my DO-NOT-CALL land-line at 09:01 Pacific
Standard "press 1 to lower your credit-card rate" scammer.
As a Shaw Phone customer, I used <star><six><zero> to block future calls from their number.
In BC, Telus customers can do the same.

I have blocked this # but shouldn't have to. I am on the DNC list.

That number called me here in New-Brunswick à 18h14. I did not answer. The phone rang steady for some time before they gave up. I can feel they will call again. It sucks!

If you don't recognize the number, or your phone says number not available, etc. don't answer the phone. simple as that.

If you are on the Do No Call List - then take the time and file a complaint. https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-eng Being rude to the person making the call isn't going to do any good - they were hired by the company to do a job - they are just doing their job and don't know whether or not your # is on the list - they are just given a list of #s to call - or it's automatically done through a dialing system.
If you make a formal complaint for every one of these types of calls (instead of just being rude to the person making the call) then the CRTC gets involved, fines the company and the company removes your # from their list - or you repeat the process over again till they get the message.
