I also get several calls from this number, from 9:00a.m. in the morning to 9:30p.m. at night.  It is very frustrating, because as the previous calllers have stated when you pick up the phone, they don't even answer, Today is Saturday, April 18th, 2009 and I have received 2 calls already today.  It is very annoying and I really wish they would just stop calling.  I have no intentions of answering the phone when they call again.

well after reading all these comments, i must say this is really nuts!! I dont even have a td account. Never had one and just last week these calls started coming through to my cell. I have this cell only for emer calls while iam at work for my kids. This is such a pain in the a**, i have a pay as yopu go and i am not going to use my minutes for this crap.

TD Canada Trust Call center, they use an automated dialer which dials hundreds of calls per minute, automatically dicards busy signal and not in service #'s.

If you wait on the line (anywhere from 20 seconds to 2 minutes) You should get a rep from the call center. Calls are mostly about renewing GIC's, mortgages, lines of credits, investments, etc.

I got at least 2 calls from this number everyday for the past 2 weeks. It's so annoying.

This number 519-645-7126 has been calling me 3 to 4 times a day.

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE AND HOW CAN I GET RID OF THEM?

I got phone calls from these number 3 times a day, and every time i pick up there is only silence. Wasting my time and my phone minutes!! if it is from TD Canada Trust, they should do something about it. OR the government should do something about it! this is absurd !!

We are now into Dec 2008 and have been called twice this week.  Both times I did not answer and both times no messages we`re left.
Guess TD is launching its RSP Season early!?

Sorry about my previous post saying that no new posts for this number since AUGUST...my mystake *shrug*
However TODAY, I finaly was able to take the call.  It was from a TD customer Rep. named Jennifer.  
They are simply asking if there are any financial services that they could provide me.  So yes its a form of Telemarketing, but to active (or semi active customers).  
I brought up the issue about dead air when I took previous calls from them, and they explained that they use an automatic dialler, and once it discovers a live connect (us!) it tries to get an agent to the call right away, but sometimes their is a shortage of available agents and do the calls fails to connect the agent to the customer.  
So, I was curious and stayed on until I was patched through...took less than 30 seconds.  Jennifer was very kind and professional and she was more than willing to remove my number from futur calls.  It will be interesting to see if she able to do this with there internal system rather than the National Do Not Call List that went into force this year.  
So if you answer the call and actually speak with a live agent, your number should be removed from their current campaings...if you wish for them to stop calling either:
1-Pick up call and wait if necessary
2- Request they remove your name from this type of solicitations in the futur
3- Add your name to the national database for DNC list.

got a call today and it was from TD visa. I said hello at least 10 times before someone answered.

TD Canada Trust needs to be prosecuted.  This is harassment and it is affecting my life.  Daily phone calls.  Never do business with them, ever.  Tell everyone.

We have received calls from this number several times.  You can call TD at 1 (800) 818-3700 to get removed from their lists.

Since I still live at home, it's my parents who are registered under our home number so they weren't going to have it removed since they'd have to speak to the home owner.  I clearly stated we were registered on the National do-not-call list and it doesn't matter who owns the telephone in the house, you're disrupting everyone in this house when you call.  After stating my case of me being a shift worker and not being interested in anything they have to offer, they spoke to management and took our number off the list.... or so they say ;-)  We'll see if they call again.

Yeah... been getting calls by 519 645-7126 constantly. So the best solution I can offer is this. Answer the call, and tell them to hold on. Make sure to tell them to hold on. Keep coming back once in a while saying one more minute or so... The longer they are put on hold not pitching their crap results in huge debts. Believe me, you may think it won't add up to much but it adds up in the millions of dollars. Straight from the mouths of call centre execs I know.

I've been getting these calls 5-6 times a day. I generally work anywhere between 4am and 8 pm so I'm not usually home when they call, but my answering machine always picks it up and there's either no sound what so ever or this horrible beeping noise. If this is TD I will seriously be thinking about a complaint to the Branch head if this business keeps up. They call once a 5am. That's just disrespectful.

Honestly, some of you are completely ridiculous. If you continue to just not pick up the call then surprise surprise the automatic dialer system is going to call you back. Another thing, if it is the bank calling you would you maybe like to know things like "hey we think that maybe your account numbers have been stolen since you shopped at this location recently, where many thefts have occurred." or "hey we noticed that you are paying 50$ a month in account fees would you maybe like to reduce those?"

Seriously, I just got a call from these guys asking about 'my investments'.  "Are you concerned with your investments?  Do you have any questions about your investments?"  I don't have any investments!!  Very very sketchy call.  Some guy with a thick indian accent and some lady yelling at him in the background.  Made me seriously uncomfortable, and made me wonder whether this guy was really with the bank.

Got a call from this no. 8.30 p.m., my husband answered as he thought it was his friend who also has a 519 no.  Lady asked for him by name said she's  from TD Bank, my husband said talk to my wife whe does the banking.  When I took the phone, the 1st thing this women asked if I had a Power of Attorney, I asked why, she said I couldn't answer questions for my husband as the investment is on his name(if she is from TD she would see any investments are joint - I didn't tell her that). She still insisted on speaking to my husband.  I then told her that my call display shows out of area so how do I know she is from TD, she told me to call the no. on the back of my access card (which is a 1-800 no.)  I told her that we have a fincial advisor, and anything TD wants to know we will go to our branch tell her
Her reply was o.k. goodbye.

Got a call from 519-645-7126 on my cell today (in Toronto, Canada).  Since I am a regular visitor of whocallsme, I didn't pick up.  My first reaction was "let me check-out this unknown number first".  Not surprised, another telemarketer.  However, on second thought, a better solution is to request "no call" rather than avoiding it and hoping it will eventually go away.

I got a call from them on my cell phone the past 2 days but I missed the calls...but it said both calls came at 12:11 pm...hmmm weird that they would call at the exact same time down to the minute on different days.

My mistake.  It was a legitmate call from TD reminding me of my investment approaching maturity.  I didn't pick up the first time when they call my cell because it has an out of area phone # and I was not expecting one.  Fortunately, I pick up the second time which was a legitimate call.

The third time I got a call from this number, I was around to take the call. It turns out that it was just a lady from TD needing more details on my credit card application. So if you have applied for a credit card recently, make sure you answer it or else your application might never go through!

The first time that I had sex, it was with a teller from TD Bank... she could suck a golf ball through a garden hose. I drilled her in the big safe after closing. The only problem was that their was a camera in the safe and we got caught. She had to blow the manager so that we wouldn't get fired.
