Pay your bills people - It's TD Bank and it's legit....you likely have an outstanding bill.

Stop being so paranoid, answer the phone and you'll quickly figure out who is calling.

Also, I immediately called TD bank first to complain about the man's rudeness and to confirm if was a scam. The lady kindly said it was a scam and confirmed my payment was received. I also gave her the number the man called from and she started an investigation.

ALWAYS call the real TD after, even it you do not have a TD account, and complain. The REAL TD will put in a complaint for you and add to the growing file to get the company shut down.

This number almost fooled me into paying them. What tipped me off was when an angry east Indian man began the call with, "You owe us money, give me your credit card number. (I gave the card to TD 2 years prior and watched the manger cut it up for me in front of cameras, my choice cause I hate credit cards.) Your bill is due today (He called on Friday at 9pm) in 2 hours or we will send you to collections."(First of all, no creditor or bank will call you on a Friday at 9 at night and give you 1-2 hours notice of payment.)

  I said "No I will not pay you," (Insert angry East Indian gibberish and yelling here.) When he calmed down enough for me to reply I said " TD doesn't have my cell phone number or ANY number to contact me at." He replied, "Then why is it I am talking to you on your number, you dumb white girl?" I replied with "You are a liar, when my real visa bill is due it's automatically pulled from my account on payday, every month and was already paid and I have proof."

(Ironically the REAL TD pulled my payment out of my account 4 hours before this a***ole called me.) He instantly hung up. I still receive calls, but my ANDROID phone has this wonderful option to BLACKLIST any number I want.

Received a call from this number today.  Don't know this number....they did not leave a message.

Well, isn't this interesting.  This number has been calling me 2 - 3 times a day for the last month or so.  I don't answer 'unavailable' or 'private' calls.  If a caller doesn't want to identify themselves I don't want to talk to them.  It is very annoying.  And, yes, there is never a message left.  
To Pat:  How do you 'tag the tweet sound of a disconnected line' at the beginning of your message?  I would love to do that.

got it twice in less than an hr no voice mail, last time we spoke to an indian male rudely ignoring when i asked to remove my number from their call list. seems like a telemarketer.

several times calling from the number 519-663-8295 recently, even evening.

This number calls me about 4 times/day.  I am on the Do Not Call List.  Just called the number as it is not listed and the voicemail stated TD Canada Trust..

This is insane. How the hell did thry even get my cell phone number? Im getting called  at least once a day. Anyone answer it and get them to stop calling?

My father has been is hospital for the last 10 days, when I stopped by his house today to pick up a few things for him and to make sure the house was ok, I checked his phone to see who had called - this number has called 49 times in the last week. 49 times and no message left. This, to me is harassment. Who can I contact about this?

They have been calling me for days, I don't answer unknown numbers... however I do not have a TD account!

If you owe them money they do have the right to call you to collect. If you can;t pay , it is in yoiur best interst to keep in contact with creditors or you go on their bad customer list and they will put you in collections. If you can pay anything you can make deals with creditors

Example if you owed them $5000 on a visa, they will make arrangements for a smaller monthly amount. If you can;t do that get a loan and offer them  $2000, $2500 or $3000 they will take it or get creditors help then they stop calling  cause they can't make you pay more than you can afford but firsrt deal with one of those creditor companies you see advertised on TV. Fees are small  and they can help you

If you do not stop calling me - you will be reported to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs or the President of TD Trust.  You have been told that I have no assets, and I am unable to work and considered "judgement free".  This is nothing but harassment and will be reported as such.  If you're number come up again you will be reported and the media will be advised to your disgusting tactics on a disabled woman.  You have called every single morning, noon and evening.

Once there is a few complaints they will need to pay a $25,000 fine

It is also aGAINST the law for any company to call before 9 am and after 9PM or on Sunday

THey were calling me and I was not answering. I don;t deal at that bank. The next time I answered. They were looking for someone in my area but I didn't know them

I even took the time to look up the name in the book, no name as that was listed.

They kept calling me every day at least 5-6 times  and I would tell them the same

I even asked around in my small neighbour hood but no one knew them

Finally after about 3 weeks I begged to stop calling cause I threateded them with  a letter from my lawyer and they did stop

It is against the law for anyone to use them but if you owe money to them they have the right to keep calling even though you made arrangements with them to catch up, these dialers will not stop until you are complely caught up. They cannot stop the auto dialers until you are completly causght up

I've tried and Bell has told me we can't block these numbers

but if you owe a company who is calling, you better call them back  and make arrangements or they can make huge problems for you

You need to report them to DNCL because it is completly against the law for any company to call using an automatic dialer

Most companies use them, that is why you hear a pause when you answer

I am very serious about these automatic dialers being against the law

I have reported another company also . all banks use them Ford credit uses them.

BUt if you are currently dealing with someone they do have the right to call you but never to use these dialers. Trust me on this.

I've been getting call from this number and finally decided to answer. It was TD Canada Trust alling about a missied payment on my line of credit. They didn't ask me for any personal information and knew details about my account. This is legit.

I began getting calls from this number today. No message, only 3 calls from a "no name" number.

bull s*** i dont have a visa master card, line of credit, loan with td, the only thing i have is a savings account, so dont give me that s*** it is td about, moneys owed

so how is any of this true, i have no loans, no visa, i only have a simple bank account with td and only bill i have with them is for 11 a month it isnt due till friday, so why are they calling me?

These a***oles been calling me 6times every single day
some ppl say they are from TD but its all fake
Be aware cuz you dont want to give any important info of yours to some random a***oles

Yeah i think its td too because i forgot to pay my td visa last month so that would make sense
