i had contracted ESAD to do some work for me and he has dsappeared with my money and not completed the work, the work he did was crap and i have had to get another contractor to fix the mistakes and rdo some of the work over. i also had referred him to another person and he has done the same thing there. i would like to speak to someone on how to stop this guy from ripping other people off, i can be reached at rwbax@baxmortgage.com

I was sorry to read you had been ripped off by Wilco. I also paid this company $4000 in January of this year and have found out painfully a couple of months ago that we will likely not get our money back....

Until I found this site I really felt we were the only people who had been scammed by ESAD Renovations aka DASE Group, it has been quite an eye opener to realize how many other people have been affected.  We have contacted a journalist who is writing a piece for her publication specifically naming and shaming Wilco Kanters and Lisa Kanters and I intend to do everything I can to make as many people as possible aware of these villains.  It is appalling that they are still allowed to continue to renovate and open new companies constantly.  It is to be hoped the new regulations for the renovation industry come into place as quickly as possible to put an end to the misery these people cause.

This number calls me just about every evening for the past two months.

Person by the name of Wilco called from ESAD Renovations. Wanted to enter my home to do a quote for renovations and repairs. I asked him what his business address was and he said 353 riverside dr., london on. I hoped on my computer and checked it out and saw many bad reviews on the company and  I told him I wasn't interested and hung up. BE CAREFUL!!! Anyone who enters your home is a potential burglar, or worse. If the truck unmarked (without their company name) or looks unprofessional, don't even waste your time. For all contractors, you should apply due diligence. Verify name, business name and license number, address and telephone number. Ask for insurance papers, and verify that they are bonded in accordance with applicable laws!!!!

These idiots call and have been told more than once that we do not need their services and to take us off of their call list.  Still they keep calling.

Nothing should set off more alarm bells than the contractor who wants to be paid in full for a project before it's started. This arrangement sets you up for a disappearing contractor who never starts the work!!!! Oldest scam in the book!!! Be careful!!!

My home phone got a call Tuesday afternoon, 28/8/13, while I was at work. My caller ID says "DASE GROUP - WILCO KANTERS". The answering machine had kicked in, they left a message about a one day offer for discounted home interior renovations. I live in London and have heard of this company calling their customers and rushing them to agree to overpriced contracts....

Yes! agree with above post!!! they seem to be scammers, i didn't even let them come to my house to quote, poster was really brave....be careful

A person by the name Lisa Kanters claimed to be from a renovation or contracting firm. She said that they are working in the area and noticed that my property required some repairs.  They offered me a special discount price, only if I would let them do a quote and made a decision on the same day. They said the discount can be offered because they happened to have "extra material" on hand. Lisa was overly friendly and rushed me to make a decision. Two people came to do the quote, Lisa and Wilco, their "special discount price" turned out to be a price that is much higher than the normal market price. I asked other contractors to come quote the "supposed" repairs and they simply said renovations are not actually needed.
