did not answer and caller did not leave a message

I just got a call and it's at 8:20 pm and my husband ripped into the guy and said I need to speak to your supervisor now. They put a guy on the phone and was trying to validate the call when my husband kept tripping them up. The guy finally hung up. V1214202014001 -519-977-6667

I just received this call too but even odder was that the name came up as V1217633290007 and number was 519-777-6667

I swear they passed the law do not call and I get more of these idiots calling....

I get those letters and numbers as well at times. I thought I was in the clear with not getting calls for 3 weeks on the do not call list but they started right back up.

They have been calling for the last 2months now and when they call no one says anything i dont know y they keep calling i am getting sick of it....

OMG!  I can't believe it...I actually fell for the scam...frig.
I thought after they called me for the next 5 days that it was a scam....shoot.  Unreal...they actually called back two weeks later....after no phone was delivered  and tried to sell me on the "phone deal" again....My husband took the call...and they tried to get him to sign up....even my children!!!  I told them that they were only 7 and 8 years old...he said that it would be fine!!  GRRRRRRRR

Oh Geeze lizardo  my heart dropped when I saw your post.Did you put this on a credit card ? If so call them and cancel the phone etc. You never got what they said you would get. Tell the person that this is a scam and speak to a supervisor .  It's amazing that 2 weeks later after not getting the phone that they called again trying to sell the deal again. Not only your husband but your kids! How can it be fine for a child to give an ok for this? I mean that cannot be valid.They are relentless!  I really,really hope you can get out of this! Let us know what happens.

Just got another call. My husband is now recalling our phone company about the no call list we were put on weeks ago and the calls have restarted up again. We have had it.

Ok found a solution to our problem. My husband spoke to someone and FINALLY something is going to be done. BUT all of you need to take down the number and call 1-866-580-3625 . When you get a call..call that  that number. Give them all the info you can. It is the DNCL complaint line. This number is being filed for investigation with CRTC & RCMP. It is considered harassment and a myriad of other issues.  Also all of you who have gotten calls..I say make the call anyway to lodge a complaint. Tell them all you have said here with the numbers, letters that come up on your phone, their actions etc. I say we all kick these guys in the butt and get the scammers caught!

BTW We have been on the DNCL since Oct 15th, 2010 and still we are getting calls . Now they are investigating how and why they are getting past it.

getting tired of these daily piss offs

It is Sky Telecommunications.  They have phoned at least 3 days a week for the past two months.  I have screamed at them, yelled at them.  Geez, they even call as late as 9:45 p.m.  Told them one more time, and I will hunt them down, and have them charged with disturbing me, since I have repeatedly told them I want nothing to do with them.

Unfortunately they don't care about the threats and will continue to call. 2 posts above this one is info on what to do.

My husband spoke to the "Real " Skytel people and they have no idea whats been going on. They too will be investigating . Plus we all need to keep up on reporting this.
Can you believe while I am typing this we are just getting a call now and my husband is letting them go through the whole thing to report it.! Unreal!

Ok here is another solution. Call your phone company and for free they will put you on a 3rd party call block since these calls are coming from computers.We just did that. Our phone company thinks we are part of that Bell scam that has been going on. I don't know what to believe anymore and what will work. 3 months , sometimes 3 calls a day several times a week at all hours.
We were also told to call the CRTC again tomorrow since once again they were NOT in their office! How can you make complaints so they can track a number when they are never there.
Also we did the *57as the phone company said that is supposed to go to the police BUT what we are dealing with getting all types of numbers and letters that come up on the phone and TV or 1416. It said it cannot be traced. Well duh.
I tell ya the guy asking my husband questions tonight was pushy from Sky Tel. He said can I have a website and the guy did of course but to the LEGIT site. Oh no no you cant use that because acting right now will be a good day . Really how? We don't want your credit card but all your info and your SIN number. My SIN number? Finally after 10 min my husband had enough and told the guy your being traced etc. The guy uh uh uh on the phone but hes said that before and they still call. Since Oct 15th we have been on the no call list and still the calls. Now they are saying the free 3rd party block will work. We shall see if I post here again soon. I have a feeling I will be slamming my head on the desk again.

I just got the same call from "Tom with SKYTEL calling on behalf of Solo Mobility" I have asked repeatedly to have my number removed. Now they are blocking the incoming number so I don't even have that to log now. But 3 calls in the last 24 hours has just got to stop.
Is there anyone out there that this can be reported to and have something actually happen.

I rang and got "the number you have called is not in service".

Call the CRTC for the DNCL -1-866-580-3625 also call the RCMP. They are logging all these numbers and letters that come up. Also call your phone company and have them do a 3rd party lock put on your phone. It doesn't cost anything and it "so far" has stopped the calls coming into my house. The reason behind that is they are calling from computers using proxy servers. It's also why you can never call any of them back.
Oh the thing with the DNCL is no matter what they were getting past it. I had it put on my phone in Oct. and thought I was in the clear for a good 3 weeks but then they restarted up again.

Keep getting a call from this number, didnt even feel my phone vibrate, they have called about 6 time already, someone should get a subpoena on this person and end this phone rage once and for all.

I am in the 416 Area code, was with fido, and now with rogers, they still keep calling me. Seems like a telemarketing scheme.

My phone is registered with the Canadian "Do Not Call" list.

Seems like Telcos are the particular violaters of the rules.

Skytel keeps calling on behalf of Bell Canada trying to sell us services.  Have demanded they remove us from their list 5 times now and they keep calling anyway.  They've recently started calling and the caller only identifies himself by his first name and doesn't tell us it's Skytel until we ask.  Pretty shady.

Well so much for the 3rd party to stop the calls via their computers cause we are back to getting calls again. I am getting so tired of calling the CRTC , DNCL , My phone company etc. Nothing is being done! How are they getting past all the blocks?
No matter how many times you tell them to stop calling , no matter who you call to fix this issue to stop it they are still getting through.

I get calls from this number on a semi nightly basis. many times i say nothing at first and then say hello and it hangs up, other times i say hello right away and its some dude with an accent from skytell or solo mobility or something. The hangups really scared me but now that i've seen this page i feel a little better. I wonder if theres a way to get them to stop calling? Its really starting to annoy me.

FYI to people, never sign up for a service offered to you by a telemarketer. Theres scammers out there. instead just hang up and if your interested in the services then look up the actual number of the company that called you and go from there. Anyone can call you and claim to be from any company but in reality they probably arent.

Got a call tonight (Jan 8) from this number.... recorded female voice saying something then the line went to the normal dial tone...

this number has started calling me today, under the 519-777-6667 and an unlisted number...dont answer it b/c its a) long distance charges for me and b) its 99% of the time just telemarketing...had call blocking taken off my phone this month...no one outside of my area has my phone number

I do not know what is this groups problem however they call and do not say who they are. They need to stop

i got a phone call from them ...skyline company... they offer cellphone.. and in the end the man was asking for SIN number for the pre-approval.

last year i get the same... thing call ended up a woman asking for my sin number.. this people are scam

It happened to me too.  I've gotten the same number calling me.  I tried calling it back and apparently it was disconnected.  I tried doing reverse lookup on 411.ca, and that number doesn't exist.  I don't get it.
