They keep calling my cell phone, no message left; I have added them to my blocked number list on my phone so hopefully they will just give up.  The reverse lookup tells me the number is in Chatham, On. where I live but given the comments it seems the numbers all appear as from your town.  I like the idea of the loud horn, blast their G.D. ear drums out and wait to see if they call back.  I am pretty sure they are up to no good.  I do everything to prevent this type of crap, unlisted numbers (which I pay fees for on both my landline and cell), both on the do not call list but still it continues.  Tellus is phone provider from what I can determine, maybe lodging a complaint with them might help.

Called @ 8:20 pm. Barely able to understand the caller (thick accent) who wanted to deliver a 'package' or something and asked what my address was. Didn't reveal it and then asked for my email address at which point I laughed and hung up. Obvious scammer obviously scamming.

they are not local because although using a local phone number it rings like a long distance call so they are definitely hiding their number from us

I received a call from this number on Saturday, Jan 4, 2012 around 2PM. A female was on the other line, and she said that I won a free stay with my family at some hotel or something like that, and then she proceeded to ask me personal questions.  I told her that I refuse to share personal information over the telephone and that I don't think her offer is real; she told me to have a nice Saturday and hung up. Scam, of course!!

Got a call from this number at 9:30 pm tonight!  did not answer as I do not know the number.  No telemarketing system I know of is legally allowed to call after 8 (I worked for one, a gas company)  so it is not a legit company.

Got a call from this number, no answer.  I am in KW.  Well, when I do get telemarketer calls, I just say, in a very quiet, polite tone, "P***s".  I say that word, every time they say a word.

I get a funny reply sometimes.  Other times they hang up.

just got a call from this number and couldnt get to the phone, tried to call it back and an automated message telling me ext 200 not available and leave a message, then u are unable to leave a message as this person's voicemail is full and then one saying sorry an error has occured, something like that. I DID recognise the number, like it had called before. I live in the Elgin area near London Ontario.

called asking for a certain person that does not exist. they hung up before and questions could be asked. no company name was given at the beginning of the conversation, calling at 7:30 pm.   what REAL company calls AFTER  5pm? and doesn't announce who they are working for?

id suggest everyone who is reporting here gets one of thoes really loud air can horns and use them whenever they get a call.. most times these guys wear headsets/ear peices which amplifies sound... making a few of them deaf will deture them some LOL

These people may be calling out of Windsor, or they may be calling using that "Magic Jack" internet phone.


Either way, they are criminals, and need to be dealt with!

They don't care about vacation packages, they want to see if you are home so THEY CAN ROB YOUR HOUSE!

Breaking and entering is this companies job.   If they get you on vacation, you house will be EMPTIED.

and even if they don't sell you a vacation package, they will probably keep trying to find out when you are not home, and ROB YOU!!!!!

Just received a call from this number which is my area code as well ... no one said hello but I could hear background chat and then they turned up piano music. Very odd.

nope.. called sagain sep 1st at 7:57AM!,,, course no one was up to answer the call.. no msg.. vacation scam!

I am in Brantford, Ontario, this is my area code as well. This number has been calling repetitively since yesterday. We answered the first call but no one said anything.

Where do you peeps live?  This is my area code, London Ontario area but same shiz, no answer, no msg, if they're local, I'll volunteer to go and kick their a***s in person....or do they just use a pertanent local area code to try to fool you?  I'd be interested in knowing we are in the same area....

Similar situation - vague intro about being randomly selected to attend a free vacation.  After asking what company they were associated with, they gave an unintelligable answer.  They then proceeded to try and ask personal questions, and hung up after I stated that I wasn't willing to answer questions.

The old 'free' vacation offer (yeah, right) followed by inappropriate questions.  Hung up when I tried to get a mailing address to verify.
