They sell your number out to the highest bidder ( Just a thought though )

I never answer an unknown number whats the point of answering it Then again I don't even see a point in having a home phone any more
Just a mess of sales calls you don't want anyways Whats the point of having the Government having you add your number to a Do Not Call List ?

Received call from 520-290-3741 on 4/15/14.  No message left.  Came on this site and found out who it was.  I am on the Do Not Call List.   Clicked on the website with names and email addresses and sent one where it said to be removed and sent phone # asking to be removed.  Will see if they honor that request.

Got the call, didn't answer.  Must be some moron trying to rip someone off.  No luck here.  They probably read these posts and hope to gather some info.  I didn't help them.  Oh well.

Why not call them all day long and bother them, as they do us? I think I may just do that for a couple hours, I will call them and continually ask them why they continually call me and hang up, for a few hours, see how they like it?

I know your right! They do still call, the only thing my call center agents or "work from home" they don't care if your on the "do not call list" and if they continue to harass you, contact OAG so they can help you Sue!

Just received a call from that number at 8:00PM, Sunday, 02-16-14.   I give people a good 2 or 3 seconds to say something then hang up!!!

Another similar website regarding this number reported that the main number for FMR associates is 520-886-5548.  I, among others, have called that number and asked to be removed from their survey calls.  Most people experienced that the person apologizes for the inconvenience, blocks your number from the survey calls to have it kept from being called again,  and says have a nice day.  Hope this works for people here!

Got a call from 520-290-3741 yesterday. Caller ID says it's from a private caller.

This is getting old fast, if you take the time to dial.....speak!  If it is automated....you are as lazy as you are rude!

I keep getting calls from this number and when I answer, no one says anything and then they just hang up.  Supposedly they are a local research company but I am tired of answering a call with no one at the other end.  And I am on the Do Not Call registry yet they keep calling!

I've emailed FMR assoc Inc and asked them to take me off their call list (as per their instruction when you call them back) - no luck.  I've even answered their phone call to ask them not to call me any more. But so far, when I answer their calls I either get a message asking me to wait for the next operator, or their computer has gone on to another call and they hang up on me.

So I looked up the number, found it's the number to FMR assoc. Inc, and called their office; (520) 886-5548
I put in the ext. # for their President; Bruce Fohr, President  (ext. 247)     bruce@FMRassociates.com.  

I left a message explaining my problem, and asked him to take my number off their list.  And let him know that I would share his info with other people who have had the same issues with his company.  Maybe if more people call, they will stop skirting the "no call" laws.

I tried this link and my e-mail said no such address found.
Apparently a bogus address so they don't have to remove your number. I blocked them with my Panasonic phone, but it still rings once before blocking, which is still a pain.

The do not call list or no call list,  does not apply to surveyors.  You can report them if you want but it will be a waste of time,  and nothing will happen.

Hanging up, yelling, not answering, and just refusing will end up in you being called again. If you just ask to be taken off,  you'll be taken off. No need to be mean, these people are just doing their job they have families, lives, and feelings too.

Calling the Attorney Generals Office will do no good.  You have to go on line to the Federal Do Not Call List and fill out a Form.  The Form will ask questions such as the phone number, person calling, content, etc.   I have received a few Business Solicitations on my voicemail at home from a gentlemen who does siding.  I called him back and told him that I am not on the Do Not Call List.  As time went on he left two more messages so this time I called him back and told him I will register a complaint.  That I did do and the calling stopped.

This is a communications research company.  Their message says that calls are randomly made if you meet certain research criterea and that research companies are exempt from the do not call rules, as they are not selling anything.  They offer to remove your number from their database in one of two ways:  either E-mail them at remove@FMRassociates.com putting the word remove and adding your phone number to the subject line, or by answering the call and telling the research interviewer the same thing next time they call.  This is one of the most polite messages I've had for one of these calls.  Kudos to them for that, at least.
