I just got a call did not pick up checked the area code then google'd it and got this page

Got this call yesterday. I answered and got some recorded message in Spanish. Funny thing is it came through on my blackberry, and I don't have a voice plan for it. Strange!

I missed a call on my cell phone from this number. My cell phone is a private number so how did these scammers get a hold of it?  Is there any way to stop this?

I got the same call from this user today,and I understand what he was saying.What he was saying is this crap in spanish "You have won $1000 dollars please have your last four digits from your phone number to claim you prize..and then press 1..etc"
This I think is a bull crap scam,so people do your selfs a favor and don't answer to this crap.I think this are telemarketing crap..."Save minutes by don't answering"

I wish people would stop calling cell phones to advertise, we dont know these people and they called our cell too. The caller ID was 530-217-6330.  You people calling cell phones are a lawless bunch of thugs who will do anything to make a buck.  Get a real job loosers.  My thoughts are also that people who depend on the phone to run a business are ones that are too crooked to run a legitimate storefront business.

Called late this evening (8-5-08) and left no message.  Very annoying.

Got this on my cell (Cingular/AT&T) last night (5:12 EDT 08/05/08).  Didn't answer it.

just got a miss call.  I came here and check first and thank you posters.  They did not leave a message on my cell.  Get off my back

ive been getting alot of random calls lately from various numbers.  wuts goin on?!?!

If this is a scam....what happens if you answer to the "wish to me removed"?  I received this missed call on 8/5/08 @ 5:44 (pacific time).  I am located in Sacramento and this is from a land line in Auburn, CA which is not too far from Sact.

This number keeps calling constantly.
It says "data call" and i don't even have the option to pick up.
It's getting really annoying, somebody please do something about it!

Called me @ 5:41pm EST then now @ 8:19pm EST I did not answer either calls just looked in the phone book for the area code then typed in the number on google just to see if a business or whatever came up.

Same here, spanish automated message, I know a bit of spanish so I pressed one like they had asked, I got a lady on the other line and I said, "Uhh yea this is my cell phone you are costing me dineros!"  The lady told me oh sorry speak english no, speak spanish, sorry, and she hung up on me.

Got call from (530) 217-6330. 3:37pm 8/5/08. Wasn't able to answer. Later I called the number back and, a recorded voice said, "this is a travel related call, if you wish to receive more info......." The recorded voice cuts off.

The voice had an accent; that seemed British to me.

SPAM!!!

I ignored it at first because I didn't know the number.
Then I called back to see who it was, it was some guy from some travel agency thing & he told me if I didn't want him to call back to put in my 10 digit phone number...

Yep, I got the call, too, and I'm in No Calif.  But since I didn't recognize it, I didn't answer.  Glad I researched it here!

I got this call 7:05pm (est) on 8/5/08. Didn't pick up. Called back and heard a guy with a British accent say that it was a travel related call, and if I wanted to be removed from the database to press 1. I didn't bother.

JUST GOT TWO CALLS FROM THIS SAME # 530-217-6330.  I HAVE NO ONE IN CA THAT WOULD BE CALLING ME.

Just got the call! I live in Colorado.

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. Got the call. Recording played in spanish- I hung up after 4 seconds. Did not call the number back.
