You DO all realise that the so-called "Do (Not) Call List" is a giant database of numbers that the government collects, then sells (or gives, although likely the former) to anyone who asks for it, and telemarketers love it. They know exactly which numbers are live, belong to a person, and will likely be answered!
Too bad there's not a way OFF the "Do (Not) Call List". I recently acquired a new phone, and immediately did NOT register for the government's phony "Do (Not) Call List", and I was immediately inundated with no junk phone calls.
What a shock that NOT signing up to be on "Do (Not) Call List" would have me not being called...

Even though we have ALWAYS been on the Do Not Call List, we constantly get calls from Google for advertising.

Auto dialer, with recorded advertisement. these were illegal, at one time I checked.
