Just received the call on a cell phone I have only had 24 hours. I doubt verizon sold my info. A call back got recoding that the number is not in service.

Same here - they have also been calling my work #.  This bugs me because I don't generally give out my cell #.  Note the callback # I got was a digit off most listed here

I've gotten tons of calls exactly like this for months now. As soon as I got my new phone this has been happening.  Definetly a scam, the warranty on my car has been up for ohhhh.  . . 5 years atleast.

I received a call from this number, but didn't answer. It's hard to say what they wanted.

Same thing here me and my wife were targeted this month with identity fraud. They try to get you personal info. They have tried various times. I notified my local police department.

Just called me too @ 5:54 PM PST, didn't answer it either...

i just got a call from this #...didn't know it so i didn't answer it. called back after i looked it up and it was busy?!!! I've also been job hunting and have been sending resumes out...i also have a at&t cell...but i'm really sick of getting these types of calls!

I have been called about expired car warranty for months but recently, at least in the past 2 days it has been from this 540 number everyone is mentioning.

Question is, what can we do about it?  I've been getting these calls for MONTHS now?

Ditto.  I believe this is the 2nd time they've called me in the last two weeks.  The first time I didn't respond and received a message specifying about the car business.  Second time, complete silence.  In terms of where they get our numbers, I have no idea.  I have NOT submitted my resume on craiglists or career sites so it must be through another method.

I got this call today as well - I am in California.  We get this at my work 5-6 times a day!

Just got this about five minutes ago. DIdn't answer. They left a four second voicemail of silence. That's my story! I have AT&T and I am in San Diego, California

I HAVE GOT A CALL FROM THIS JOKER SEVERAL TIMES DO THEY THINK WE ARE STUPID? I GOGGLED IT AND THIS IS WHAT I CAME UP WITH 1-540-350-4194. I THINK IT IS A SCAM. THEY HUNG UP ON ME WHEN I STARTED TO QUESTION THEM AND THEY DID NOT KNOW THE ANSWERS. BE CAREFUL!!!
