My phone number is private. I do not give out the number. I just got a call from this phone number 540-491-4552. When I googled the number, it appears to be from a spammy telemarketer. This company does not have my consent to call my personal cell phone. Period. Please advise.

It's a telemarketing recording.
Starts off with a woman's voice saying in a very businesslike way "The FBI reports......"
Scared the bejesus outta me man.......
Ya call back, a recording comes on telling you that you were contacted for telemarketing purposes and then "if you want to be removed from the call list, press any digit now." click. Like, ya get a half second to press any digit.
SCAMSCUM using the good ol' fear factor (Right Wing affiliated maybe??) to get ya to cough up your hard-earned dollars for their very likely sub-standard stuff.

Tase 'em.

I keep getting automated calls from this number to my home number and now my cell phone.  This is harassment.  It must stop.

Do any of you have an AT&T phone? Does the first call of the day cost $1.00? Do you answer and no one talks and the line goes dead? AT&T knows!

I did not answer, no message left.  This outfit uses several different numbers to call.

Other ones 864-326-4994 and 503-457-1176 and many others.

This is a telemarketing company being used by Alliance Home Security.  They will call my cell phone constantly during the work day.  
I guess Alliance Home Security isn't looking for very good press.  Way to alienate potential customers... dopes.

Called my cell phone. First time I got spam on my cell. Listened to it about security sign. Hung up but they probably know they have a live number.

Dont call them back, doing so only validates that they contacted a working phone number.

Just don't answer

I called it back after reading these comments it just makes no sence it's like there leaving a message for you for the only option u can choose is for them not to call u.  Kinda contradiction.  I'm sure if u press any digit it does something and saves your number or there doing something bad/wrong

I got a call from this #, as it shows up on my cell phone, I immediately search the # on google and it brought me to this page, knowing it's a telemarketing call, I answered and get to the person and told them I work for the FBI, don't call here anymore, they hung up LOL.

Didn't answer cause I didn't recognize it. Called back and got an automated msg that stated, "you've been contacted for telemarketing purposes. touch any number to be removed from our..." and that's where I hung up. They didn't even state a company name or give any info.

i agree, i don't press #s.  i'm afraid they'll use my long distance or something LOL

the first thing the recorded msg said was "The FBI says...." to get your attention.  and then they go on to try to sell you an alarm system.  it's a scam.

Got the same when I called the number back. You just never know if you enter any digit to remove your number if it really does do that

telemarketer.. call the number back and it tells you how to remove your number
