The homeowner's three young daughters were witnesses as Beurman struck the man on the head with the golf club and Thyrion slashed a 5-6 inch long laceration on his lower stomach.

The victim was taken to Genesys Regional Medical Center and required several stitches to close his wound. He is recovering at home.

Beurman, who also lives on Pinoak Street, and Thyrion, who had been staying on Birch Street in the park, both fled the scene, but were captured a short time later.

Both have previous criminal histories. Beurman was arrested in Oakland County for felony weapons/firearms receiving and concealing in 1999 and had an arrest in Kalkaska for operating while intoxicated third offense in 2003. Thyrion had a felony sex offense in Taylor in 2002 and a felony burglary in Wayne in 2003, as well as a felony drug possession in Cleveland that same year.

This guy (Mr. Burmenn)  just called a friend of mine right now, saying that he was using a fake social Security that belonged to someone in another state when in fact he was a U.S. citizen but when my friend asked for his first name he said he couldn't tell my friend for security purposes. My friend just played along with what the guy was saying and he said that my friend had to send a check for 1,000.00 or else he was going to file a police report. The phone number of 541.201-3015 has been repeatedly calling me the man is identifying himself as a Glenn Bermen from Andrew Hayes & Assc. he is calling my home and my cell all the time.  He threatens to report me to the police and to my job if I do not pay what he wants.  He also threaten to send immigration to my house.   How do I get him to stop?

This person is also calling my neighbors and harrasing them with the same message. Worst of all,  he doesn't owe any money. I am reporting this person/ collection company to the authorities and to the The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation’s consumer protection agency.
