I got this call as well and so did my husband. Neither of us have ever booked travel plans anywhere. Neither have alot of folks getting this call. I am pretty sure it's an auto dialer that just calls consecutive numbers hoping to reach someone. My phone provider also thinks this as I called and blocked the number. Even if you never give your number out an auto dialer can still end up calling you based on chance of guessing the number. After all with as many people getting these calls theres bound to be unrelated ties. In all seriousness, how many of us have eaten at a McDonalds lately or shopped at Walmart? I think it's just a coincidence.

Just got this call 10 minutes ago.  Interestingly enough I in fact DID just (like an hour ago) book travel through the Marriott website.  Hmmm...I wonder if it is related.  They called my ATT cell, which is a company phone number so my number.

just got a call at work to a new number as we changed our tel system.
I woud conclude from that that it is not travel related, they might just dial numbers the get from a number generator.

Same call to my work Bb. Spanish speaking, no response when I said hello. Call happened about 10 minutes ago.

received a call from this number, recording said i won $1000.00 and to press one. When i pressed one, the phone hung up. Please be careful when asked to enter your number to be removed from database. This is a scam where an automated machine makes the calls but they have no idea what your phone number is until you enter it to be removed from their database.

Got the call a few minutes ago.   I will report to FCC, but will not ask to be removed from database (as suggested above) -- that is a surefire scam to add you to the list.

Oh, I hate these telemarketers.

I just booked a flight through Expedia and got a call from this #.  Reading through the other entries, it seems as though booking  through the major travel sites is a common thread.

I booked a flight on priceline today;

never gave out my new cell number to anyone but after booking tickets with PriceLine I got a call within 8 hours.

Rang my google voice number, no repsonse when I said hello.

this # just called me on my cell phone!  It was a lady speaking spanish--then hung up-- wish I could understand Spanish!  I am not pleased!!!!!

spanish i did not understood so googled it. time to just forget about it

Just got a call from this number but there was a pause and sounded like they were fumbling for the phone so I hung up.

This number just called me. I called back. Travel related telemarketer. Prompted me to enter my number but I did not do it.

I received this cal last night, but didn't answer. I haven't traveled in months so I don't know that it's related to orbitz or travelocity. Curious how they got my number, whoever they are.

Called my cell phone. Spanish speaking recording. I hung up. Then I called back. English speaking recording telling me about travel plans and someone would be calling me back.  Also if I wanted to remove my number from their calling list. I started to enter my number then changed my mind and hung up.

Call my cell but left no messge.  Seems like it's calling from Eugene, OR.

They called me too. Here's what you do - just call them back and press one at the option prompt to get yourself removed from their data base

just got the call as well...i recently booked travel on orbitz.com and left my cell as my contact number...wonder if it's related. i called back and removed my number from the data base. isn't it amazing what you find when you google a phone number!!!! this site gave me piece of mind!

I ALSO recently booked a flight from Orbitz (or was it Travelocity?). I didn't pick up the call, but if I don't call back to remove my no. from the list, will they keep bothering me?

They called and said in spanish that I had won a $1,000. Then got transferred and got hung up on. Called back and received english recording stating if I wanted to remove my # press 1. Who are these people?
