While they are collecting your student loan that was in default, they send paperwork to make sure they can contact you through others if you default again, and they want financial info so they can lower your payments.

Debt collectors for Federal Student Loans.  They are after my ex wife but are bothering me.  Her debt before marriage.

Debt collection.  Left a message the a debt was owed and they need a response to the paper work they sent.  No mention of the company name and what the debt is.  I have not received any mail from a debt collection company, so I do not know what this is about.  I will wait and see if I get some kind of coorespondence from them. I doubt it though.
